Not a great KOA. grass lot needed mowing, cats roaming all over hanging out on picnic tables and dog poop all over site. Seemed like people lived at some sites, just overall not a great stay. Would stay here if nothing else was available. Staff was nice, pool and playground decent.

I didn’t feel they took care of the grounds very well. The staff was great though. I love the laundry room because it was like it was outside and it was so pretty back there.

The staff are amazing and the campground was neat, clean, and well-maintained. The spaces were a bit tight though; Our picnic table straddled our neighbors stinky slinky. Road noise from the highway and car noise at the gas station next door was a nuisance but, there's nothing management can do about that.

Other than tell me to take down dog fence which was keeping the 6-7 Ferrell cats from peeing on my gear and not doing the same with another site who had the same fence it was iffy.

Have family in Goose Creek and stayed 3 nights while visiting them. Rates are reasonable, staff is friendly, restrooms clean, store well stocked. Site maintenance could be better. Misc trash items not picked up and grass is not trimmed beyond what mowers can access.

The bathroom toilets did not get cleaned multiple days. Our campsite was infested with cockroaches. Tree limbs were not trimmed and scraped our roof.

Campground was quiet. Site was going up hill which made it difficult to connect camper to sewer since the sewer connection was at the top of the site. Difficult to find site since they didn’t provide an escort to site. Least favorite KOA so far.

The staff was friendly that's about it. We have never stayed at a KOA until this one, wow what a dump. Attached to a run down trailer park, both of which have a feral cat problem. malnourished sick cats everywhere. Trash in the sites, electrical and water hook-up was sketchy. Electrical panel in need of repair. Site was overgrown with weeds. I am actually surprised KOA puts their name on this.

Staying at this KOA campground was a disappointment. We stayed at 2 on this trip. The KOA in Newberry SC is a first class operation (nice location, well maintained campground/sites, friendly and helpful staff). Charleston Holiday KOA is none of these things.

Our site was not clean, with MULTIPLE cat poops and umk for previous visitor. Very bad smell from the cat poops from a camper who has 4 cats beside our site. He leave them outside all night and they were fighting ans screaming all nite. There was also a tree bush blocking the water hose. A tree stomp in the middle of the driveway where we park the RV The grass was tall on sites not just ours.

My sole problem was that the sewage connection was much higher than the outlet ion my camper. As I walked the park I noticed that most were at ground level.

It is the worst koa campground we have every stayed at. Koa should be ashamed to put their name on this campground. We were supposed to stay for five days but when we pulled in and saw trash, uncut lawn and cats all around, we left the very next morning. How they can call themselves a “holiday” it’s more like a nightmare. Surely not meant for anyone. Certainly not not recommend to anyone!!

I had to clean beer cans, cigarette packs and other trash off our site. Could not walk without stepping on cigarette butts. Used band aids were stuck to picnic table. Previous occupants at end of site when we left. Only one shower had acceptable water pressure. It had mold in floor. Maintenace plunged toilet while I showered. I am shocked KOA has name on this campground. We will not be back here.

Was put on a site that ran up hill. Could not level coach. Then was assigned a spot on row F was ok level but was a mud hole with the rain. Grass had not been mowed in some time which made it even worse. We have stayed here many times and thought you were improving however this time it appears the park improvements have stopped and more and more people are living there full time.

On arrival, we had to clean the site D7 picking up AA batteries, plastic, tape and pieces of rubber foam. Five stars for the bath house and laundry space cleanliness.

There was dog poop all around the park, feral cats roaming, and human feces on the floor and walls of the men's bathroom. We will not be returning.

restrooms not clean and no soap or towels in men’s or women’s bathroom. Fixtures broken or not working. Site was ok. I expect more from a KOA.

Nothing special. Back of the campground abuts an empty lot with no fence. It would be easy for someone to just walk in unnoticed. Close to Charlston

It was ok. A bit further from family than we wanted. Pull through site was a plus. Smell of sewage wasn’t pleasant. Clean site. Clean laundry area.Feral cats were a nuisance. We would stay again.

The only thing there to do is walk your dog, the park & pool. They advertise like a KOA in full operation, but everything else is padlocked. I did enjoy the armed security, and they even left the blue lights on every night to soothe me right to sleep. Well, other than that it was okay.

We had a pleasant stay. This KOA is about 25-30 minutes outside of Charleston. You get a suburban small town feel in the area around this KOA. It is quiet. You will not get the feel for Charleston by staying here. The staff is friendly.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
