Welcome to the Brighton KOA, with spacious pull-through campsites, mature trees and nature trails. You can relax in a quiet country setting just minutes from your travel route. We are located just a few minutes from Ontario’s premier travel route, Hwy 401. We have spacious pull-through RV sites, mature trees and nature trails. You can relax in our country setting without a long drive from your travel route. Enjoy the campground's Giant Chess & Checkers, grass volleyball court, horseshoes, children's playground, hiking trails, Kamp K9 or relax by the pool & hot tub.
Nearby you can visit great fishing, boating or beautiful beaches. This is a choice location for day tripping to Toronto, Peterborough, and the wonderful beaches of Sandbanks or Presquile, and the perfect spot to begin the Apple Route, with numerous farms and markets to visit. Don’t forget to get your picture taken at the nearby Big Apple! Visit the town of Brighton, on historic Hwy 2, along the scenic shores of Lake Ontario. The wonderful 19th century architecture of the town retains the spirit of the early founders who established some of the first apple orchards in Canada.
From here, it's only 75 minutes to Toronto and 3 hours to Montreal. Stop here to rest and relax or explore one of Ontario’s most beautiful tourists regions.
Meet Your Hosts
For Mari and Ed Bryans, owners of the Brighton KOA in Ontario, camping runs in the family. "It's something we've always done," Mari says. "I grew up on the campground owned by my parents. Then I married Ed, and he became active in the campground business."
They owned a private seasonal park before purchasing the Brighton KOA campground, but decided to make the switch to KOA because they liked the values KOA represented. They purchased the Brighton campground in June of 2006.
The location and setting of their campground is their biggest pride as campground owners. The beautiful rolling hills and wooded areas make for majestic scenery that they and their campers enjoy. "We do everything we possibly can to make our campers stay the best it can possibly be."
