It's the forth time for us. Need to explain more? :)

All of the staff are so friendly and are really great with kids. The bathrooms & showers were cleaned regularly and the upgraded showers were a nice surprise. The housekeepers were friendly & professional. So nice to be on vacation in a place where you're greeted with a smile & pleasant attitude from all staff on site. Very Impressed! My kids did not complain of boredom once!

Great Staff with lots of activity for the kids. Good Job.

We always enjoy staying at the Astoria/Warrenton KOA. There are so many things to do that are close by the campgrounds. The paved sites are the best we have ever seen and having full hook-ups is a plus! There is lots of room at each site and you don't feel like your rubbing elbows with your neighbors. The staff is always eager to help in any fashion.

The only complaint we have is that you charged our guests $8.00 a day to visit. They spent $90.00 to come to a family reunion and no use of the facilities. I think this is uncomprehensible. I will let people know about this policy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have an occupancy regulation and we aren't open for general public use. The facility is intended to be for the enjoyment of registered guests and there is a limit on visitors to ensure the people who are paying to be here have little impact. Thanks, Dale

Not exactly a quality outdoor experience with 4 guys at the entry and packed camping conditions. Was chalking it up to a busy weekend until the KOA stanchioned Latin disco music started blaring at 10:00 am. Kids liked a pool but we were hoping it was outdoor. Showers were nice. Price was high and similar to a hotel cost which is where I'll likely stay next time.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry the Latin Disco was Zumba and we were celebrating Spain as a theme. If you choose to return we are installing an outdoor pool next year. Dale

we were right by the basketball court they were playing basketball team 2 or 3 in the morning.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are planning to fence in the "FUN ZONE" next year to prevent late night scrimmages. Dale

We like your campground, stay there whenever we are in town. It would be nice if the wi-fi worked however.
Aug 04, 2014
Everything was great. Good maintenance of park. Need to improve WiFi reception or performance. Unable to connect or process anything thru WiFi.

This is a wonderful place if you have kids. Keeps them super busy with lots of activities available.

We had a lovely stay. The bathrooms were very clean and all the employees very helpful and nice. We are tent campers and usually stay at Fort Stevens. It was full so it was wonderful we were able to stay with you. Thanks!

Great campground and super staff. Most of the campground is very windy due to being next to ocean. Very few campsites are protected from the wind. Free pancakes every morning, what a great touch. I cannot understand how they promote family camping and then charge you additionally for each kid for each night. The nightly rate is for only two adults. So, are the pancakes really free? Greg

The loop we were in had a LOT of traffic at all hours of the night. Thought about staying in the new cabins on next trip.. But $165 a night.. Wow.

This KOA is by far the most organized and friendly RV camp we have ever stayed in. The staff here is wonderful! Our truck broke down and we had to extend our visit twice and they made the experience much less painful. THANK YOU for making our vacation a more pleasant experience! We will definitely return!

Really awesome place to stay, had a great time. The kids very much enjoyed all the activities. Can't wait to go back!
Aug 04, 2014
This was our first time at a KOA. The Astoria location came highly recommended. We have 4 kids ages 17-13 - 8 - 5 and we all had a great time. Will be back next summer for sure with friends/family.
Aug 04, 2014
Friendly staff and an awesome crew. Very cleanly park setting. It was a very busy park and the only items I would recommend is to control the speeding in the park and the obnoxious blaring stereos.
Aug 04, 2014
Other campers REPEATEDLY kept walking through our spot, even when we were there. My husband and dog went on you NATURE TRAIL that lead out to the boonies and ended up on pacific road almost 3 miles away. Your lucky some kids didn't take your Trail by themselves and get lost. We won't be staying there ever again!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Campground Etiquette has been a challenge to instill. The nature trail is 3 miles long with only two legs that only lead back to the KOA. Sorry, Dale
Aug 04, 2014
Filthy bathrooms and camping on top of each other in a parking lot with no trees and dead grass. Way over priced for the quality of the campsites.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry we failed you. Dale

Excellent in most respects. Only negitive was people's disregard for speed limits in the campground. My comcern was for young children running and riding bikes and being hit when darting fr behind parked vehicles.

Short but sweet. Clean, so much to do, helpful staff... Great location, Very happy, absolutely a must to visit again.

It was great.
Aug 02, 2014
Everything was great, our grandkids had a blast, this is there second trip, we love it because it has everything for them. Only neg comment would be the showers, could use a good update.
Aug 02, 2014
Great activities for families. Good location to Astoria & Seaside, Fort Clatsop. Great helpful staff, especially Jim. Only comment, we wish the showers were cleaned more often. They are heavily used. Group coordinator Carmen is great.

best, most friendly KOA of all we've stayed at
Aug 02, 2014
Nice clean campground. Dont plan on sleeping in though. The KOA staff starts working about 7. Getting too expensive as well. You're now charged a "resort fee" of about $5-6 per guest per day on top of everything else they charge you for. Its a nice place just be aware that it'll cost ya.

Aug 01, 2014
loved all the activities and the kids could not get enough of the bouncy pillow
Aug 01, 2014
close to a lot of cool sights, had a great stay.
Aug 01, 2014
Only negative is no garbage cans, have to leave garbage out by campsite, had Seagull into my garbage, had to pick it up .
Aug 01, 2014
We stayed in KOA Astoria with our family in July 2014. One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. They have wide sites which are very clean and modern. The pool is great as well as the jumping pillow and mini golf, lots to do for the kiddies. Also they have a KOA representative that waits at the front road by the office to assist all the campers coming in. Free pancakes everyday!
Aug 01, 2014
Great place for kids. NOT great being put beside the playground. People walked thru our site close to our trailer. W/E sites ugly and few in number. WI-FI not consistent.
Aug 01, 2014
Great location across from state park, friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers. Don't get a site by the playground unless you like the sound of screaming children until 11pm.
Aug 01, 2014
Stayed four nights. Staff was friendly, mens room seemed to need more attention than it received all four days, recreation facilities were well used, but still serviceable. Showers were old except for number five, which was way nicer than the rest.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We replaced one third of our showers this year and number five was the only one in that building. Look for more upgrades next year. Dale

I felt like their personal cash cow: I was charged for my pet and I was charged for a resort fee that I had no use for. Also, the cost for the site I was in was over rated ($20 per night too much). Greed abounds! I have a choice and they made mine for me the next time in the area-not KOA! I've had many enjoyable stays at KOA, but not this one.
