Badlands National Park

Minuteman Missile Historic Site

This new attraction, located near the Badlands/White River KOA will be open for free tours starting on Memorial Day. Minuteman Missile National Historic Site is one of the nation's newest national park areas. The tours (reservations required) will be conducted twice daily, Monday through Friday. The Prairie Homestead and the Badlands Trading Post

The Prairie Homestead is one of the very few sod dwellings intact today. The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation's cultural resources worthy of preservation. Wall Drug

Pig Dig

Rock Hounding

About 9 miles west of the Badlands KOA, visit an "agate allotment". This is free and you can collect agates to keep.
