Kick back at this KOA, a peaceful campground with a free fishing lake off I-44 and 80 miles from Branson. Every RV site is pull thru and comes with a fire pit and table. Kamping Kabins are near the lake. The KOA staff jokes that it has a "husband/dog" walking area. Besides selling Route 66 items, the store doles out free doggie biscuits. You'll find a pool, game room, grassy volleyball area and playground, among other amenities. Join fellow campers for weekend ice cream socials in the summer. On the Fourth of July, eat free hot dogs and watermelon. You're also close to an RV sales and repair shop. In Springfield, explore caves or visit Bass Pro Shops and its 140,000-gallon aquarium.
