Yellowstone National Park

Old Faithful - 30 miles from Yellowstone KOA
The largest concentration of geysers in the world is in the Upper Geyser Basin including World Famous Old Faithful . Several of the more prominent geysers and hot springs are located here. Yellowstone Lake - 47 miles from Yellowstone KOA
Yellowstone Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the United States that is above 7,000 feet and is one of the largest such lakes in the world. Yellowstone Lake covers 136 square miles and is 20 miles long by 14 miles wide. It has 110 miles of shoreline. The lake is at least 320 feet deep in the West Thumb area and has an average depth of 140 feet. Situated at an elevation of 7,733 feet, the lake remains cold year-round, with an average temperature of 41 F.

Have you ever been to an old fashioned Rodeo? Well, we have one right across the street from Yellowstone Park KOA every Thursday, Friday and Saturday - June through August. Starts at 8 PM and lasts about 2 hours. This is great family fun and within walking distance!
Burnt Hole Mountain Man Rendezvous
Step back in history. From Tepees to Trader's Row, this re-enactment of a pre-1840 era encampment brings bygone times to life. Black Powder and tomahawk throwing competitions vie for attention with blacksmiths and toolmakers.
