The Yankton KOA has not been affected by the flooding in the area and is open and taking reservations.

Lewis and Clark held council with the Yankton Sioux near this brand-new KOA next to the Missouri River. The kampground is located in Yankton, just downstream from Lewis and Clark Lake and Lewis and Clark Recreation Area (6 miles west). You'll find opportunities for boating, sailing, Jet Skiing, and kayaking as well as swimming and sunbathing on miles of beaches. This KOA, with RV and tent sites and Cabins and Lodges, is next door to the National Field Archery Association Headquarters & Museum and the Easton Center for Archery Excellence. At this training facility, you can hone your skills at indoor, outdoor, 3-D and Olympic archery. (Equipment available for rent). At this KOA, enjoy a game of horseshoes. Play basketball or sand volleyball with the kids or join them at the playground and on the Jumping Pillow. Fido will enjoy the dog park. Cool off at the pool or relax at your campsite. Yankton has some of the best pheasant, waterfowl, deer and turkey hunting (and fishing) in the area.
