This was our first visit to a KOA. The staff and facilities were both great. We’ll return on our way back from our trip.

This was our 2nd stay at this campgrounds. We have stayed here both times coming back from our longer trip to the South. The staff was great and look forward to staying there again in the future!

We never have issues here but this time we did. I never knew or had been asked about the amount of people staying at the cabins with my family & never been charged for extra people. That caught me by surprise this stay. Thought it was handled but the person who called me to told me it was not & I needed to pay, showed no empathy about it at all. We won’t be back.

The staff and facilities were out of this world! My family and school family were treated with the utmost respect. We are definitely coming back in the fall.

Awesome location and campground although it is often the people that perfect the stay! The Staff at Capitol KOA is by far the best I have met from coast to coast in any campground. Wanda, Dan, Doc and Chris made our stay the most favorite experience in three years of full time RVing. This was not our first visit, certainly will not be our last and we will tell and bring all our friends too.

An amazing stay! Everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and well maintained. We would absolutely stay here again!

Pulled into a clean friendly campground. Host was welcoming, site was wide enough for our 4 slides, tow fit in back of rig. Cute items in camp store, showers clean and lots of beauty surrounding campground. Large trees and bushes. Take your own trash but dumpsters were full. That's my only complaint. We will return if ever in this area.

My stay was nice, one big plus is it is very easy to get the train into Washington DC, too take in the sights.

Personal were friendly and Professional. Didn't use much of the amenities due to being in DC each day. Pool table needs to be refinished. Park was clean and quiet. Better for a family rather than a retired couple.

Nice pool, Workers were very nice, the merchandise at the store was reasonably priced, bathrooms were clean and showers were very nice. Two things we'd change is that the Hiking trail should have some signs throughout so you know you are going the right way and they should have some organized activities at night at the pavilion ,especially on Saturday, but we would still stay there again

We have stayed at this campground twice and really like the campground and the people that work there! The only problem has nothing to do with the campground itself, it's the traffic and trying to get to it. Both times we have had nerve-wracking experiences in the traffic on our way in. Obviously there is nothing to be done about that, just wanted to say that is the ONLY problem we had there.

We enjoyed our stay, and would have rated it higher had the grounds crew not thrown grass clippings all over our water, power, and sewer lines and then NOT come back to clean them up even though I asked about it of them, and then asked about it at the office. Poor customer service of that nature will keep me from returning or recommending it. Hopefully others will not face the clean up we did.

Sites are not as long as advertised. Paid extra for a patio site that was long enough, and it was not.

We stayed 5 nights while visiting family near Annapolis. We really enjoyed this KOA. The amenities for kids are great with a nice playground, badminton net, corn hole, basketball court, and a clean life-guarded pool. The office/store is open in the evening so it was nice to go get some ice cream treats after dinner. The sites are a bit tight but no worse than most KOAs. Will stay again.

Wonderful time at the KOA. The grandkids had a blast at the ice cream social and candy bar bingo. They made friends at the pool. The camp store was great. All of the Koa employees were friendly and helpful.

The area for the tent trailer could be more flat. Wifi was not working for two days. Everyone was pleasant. Prices at the store are decent.

I have been staying almost exclusively at KOAs since the early 2000s. The Capitol KOA packs a lot of amenities into a smaller area. It was fantastic! The Staff were more than friendly and the grounds very nicely taken care of. Though I did not use many of the amenities all of the kids who were seemed to be having an amazing time. Very nice and peaceful but also very close to major areas.

A great KOA location with lots of stuff for the kids to do. Quiet and the cabins around the edges backing up to forest are fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Store was well stocked with priority items with convenient open hours. Location is within a short drive to lots of fun places. We went for short 15 minute drives to Baltimore and Annapolis during our stay.

Staff in office (Susie) awesome & extremely helpful. Susie went out of her way to help us with a RV issue we had. Campground itself, adequate. We never use campground showers, so cannot speak to that. Location was superb as we took train into DC.

Other than being difficult to get to by CoPilot and other GPS apps, the facility was very accommodating

Stayed here for a quick overnight on the way to and from South Carolina. Front desk staff were very friendly and they'll even escort you to your site after you check in. Also they have a bunch of pull-through sites so if your rig isn't too long you don't need to unhook if you're just spending the night.

We visited Washington DC during the Cherry Blossom Festival and stayed at the Washington DC / Capitol KOA Holiday campground. It rained every single day during our trip but it didn't dampen our spirits(pun intended). The KOA has a giant chess board, playground, ping pong table and pool near the main entrance. We stayed near the camp store and were a little concerned about noise/traffic. I will happily report that we didn't experience any of that. As I mentioned earlier, it was very rainy and we only took 1 picture of our site #6 which didn't flood. There is a dog park which my puppies were happy to play in (between rain storms). I would recommend checking out the camp store as they have so many cute items to help commemorate your visit as well as items you may have run out of or forgot. I would love to go back and visit during a dryer time.

We only to spend a few days visiting Washington DCstayed one noght as we were traveling through the area, but its in a perfect location to spend a few days visitng Washington DC.
