We as part of a group had registered over a year ago and were given a site number as part of our group. At check-in, I was told they had no record if the site selection and were assigning me a site a very long distance from the rest of the group. After much discussion, I was placed in a site closer to the group. I am very disappointed in this koa and the lack of customer service.

We love this KOA. What makes it special is how friendly and happy the staff are. They are always smiling and willing to help their guests. It really really makes our stay special. Love all the activities there and how they are so welcoming to our dogs.

Our stay was good, the only negative comments was the traffic noise all night long, and some rude employees. One of the employees driving around in a golf cart literally started yelling at me as she was driving by about being in a private dog grass area. There was no sign on the gate, and I did not know if was private, but she was so rude. Restaurant fair at best.

What can I say. This KOA was amazing ! Campsites had grass, a patio and was secluded due to the shrubs. BBQ restaurant and bar and site. lots of activities. Close to The Saguaro National Park and the Old Pueblo Cellars for wine tasting. We will be back !

Great stay, although The restroom and showers could be cleaner.

We’ve been in a lot of KOA’s, but yours is by far the nicest one ever. Loved it and we’ll be back again.

Great, well maintained KOA. Many amenities including a restaurant with entertainment. Quiet park and friendly staff. The nearby airport and Air National Guard station make themselves know from time-to-time but never before or after quiet time. The surrounding area outside the park is a bit rough but excet for groceries or trips to surrounding attractions there really no need to go anywhere else.

We enjoyed our one month stay at this KOA. Rates were reasonable, good amenities, good customer service and lots of grapefruit to pick!

Plenty of space in each campsite. Probably the cleanest KOA that I have ever seen.

I have already recommended my sister and brother-in-law, who have an RV, stay at this KOA. I wish I could have stayed longer, I enjoyed my time there very much.

First timer and I will be back. Loved all the amenities

The KOA is great BUT campers are very rude with their dogs. They let them bark nonstop all day long. We complained to the office but nothing changed. We would have extended our stay but couldn't take the dog barking any longer.

Unique
Very nice CG. Pools, dog wash fruit trees. And lots of things to do in Tucson. We will be back.

This is the nicest campground we have ever stayed in. Every spot was unique. We just wish we could have been able to stay more than one night.

If you like barking dogs & screaming kids, this is the place for you. We have been listening to barking dogs for weeks!!

Internet is atrociously bad. Why even advertise you have it. The pools are spectacular!

Great site w/large patio, fireplace. Fun and clean pool, hot tub, laundry, quad bike rental. Daily events/activities texts. Good staff. Close to paved Loop bike path. Water in dressing area inside women’s showers did not always drain; wall hooks were not deep enough to hang a lot of clothes. Besides the very good onsite BBQ Rush Restaurant not very many restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend.

One of our favorite KOA's==well organized campground -great staff nice large sites. The bonus you get to pick the fresh fruit and eat it!!! Graprfruits-lemons and oranges for the pickingthe only thing missing is the limes. Will be back and also will stay longer two weeks not long enough one month should do it--lots to see and do around Tucson!!

Large sites. Very helpful staff. Would give 10 stars if I could.

We loved our grass patio spot. It gave us some privacy with the hedges and some shade from the tree. There were so many activities going on at the park and the restaurant was very good!

We love this KOA - it’s one of our favorites. It’s clean, the spaces are all fantastic. You can choose the simplest sites that still give you lots of room and are very clean, or the super sites with patios, fire features and pet enclosures! Lots to do. Amenities are wonderful. Pools are warm. Restaurant is excellent. And if you’re lucky, you can win a game at bingo or trivia night.

Just stayed two nights, but the camp is very clean, well organized, nice amenities, very knowledgeable, pleasant staff. The restaraunt was underwhelming food wise, but I don’t hold it against the whole site. We will definitely stay here again!

We just wrapped up our stay at the Tucson Lazydays KOA Resort, and let me tell you, it was a total game-changer for RV camping. Forget the dusty campgrounds of my past - this place was a resort oasis! We opted for a shaded pull-through RV site. Huge solar panel roof is provided perfect shade. We've been little bit dissappointed by the on-site restaurant, BBQ Rush. The food is delicious food, but three counted brisket slices and three counted ribs for almost $30 looks to me little bit out of range. The dog park is awesome, huge, shaded, perfect for any pet. Connectivity is not the best I've seen. The campground WiFi wasn't the most reliable and, due the site we choose, the solar panel roof above is an issue for Starlink as well. Also my T-Mobile 5G back-up connectivity was not performing very well. Overall, the Tucson Lazydays KOA Resort gets two thumbs up from us! It's perfect for campers who crave a resort-style experience with all the trimmings.

Been coming here for a couple years and in most areas they shine. Some of these activities might be seasonal, we were there Feb-Mar 2024, so keep that in mind. Spacious sites and most are level, cable tv available but pretty basic(no Golf or Hallmark/GAC channels), fruit trees(orange, lemon, grapefruit) that you can pick from, two pools with hot tubs, a restaurant on-site with generally decent food, two laundry rooms(which sometimes get crowded and there are usually machines down for maintenance), a fitness center with treadmills/bikes/rowing machines & dumbbell weights(thanks go to the slimeball who stole 1-30lb dumbbell around the middle of Feb-it made me up my weight), basic pickleball court, and two sets of bathrooms with showers. Park is kept really clean by the crew patrolling in golf carts continually during the day. Sunday pancakes w/ sausage for $ was good, but even better when they switched back to blueberries versus chocolate chips. The staff handling that were great & fun! Donuts/snacks on Thursday's were also fun. They charged a $1 for a donut this year but no big deal as far as I was concerned. Previous yrs saw the young, & yes some old, take advantage of the free ones. There were also plenty of crafty things going on, along with Trivia every so often in the restaurant. Couple downers this year and one was Bingo. Previous years they had cash payout for winning, this year it was a ‘Mystery Prize' that you got when spinning the wheel. Half hour bike rental, 6 wings, etc. We attended one time to see what it was, and never went back. Used to fill two rooms, with maybe 8-10 tables, approx. 8 people at each table. The time we went there was one room, couple tables, not filled. Used to be a fun social get-together. Heard the money all went to their Kare Camp fund, which is a great cause. But from what I understand, the fund got half of the proceeds from previous years. With attendance down, I wonder if they made more or less this year. Another downer was realizing that deposits & site picks for next year had increased 5 times from the previous year! That's a lot of MY money for KOA to be sitting on for a year. Also, water was shutoff three different times for maintenance. They did warn everyone days in advance, so use of your fresh water tank was imperative. Felt sorry for the tent campers though. Water out meant bathrooms closed too. They were fixing leaks. Gates are closed & guarded at night. There is some noise. Two busy streets, one International Airport, one Air Force Base, and train tracks, can disturb the light sleeper. Propane refill is offered. Last I heard, motorhomes go to them, they do not come to your site. Plenty of dog areas are offered all over the park. Heard some yippers on/off. Plan on going back again but hope some things change back the way they were. Seemed to be a lot less comradery this year.
