Lake Levels

Summer, 2016: Trinity Lake is at a higher level than it was at this time last year. Boating is fantastic and fishing is outstanding. Please note: The marina will be out when possible for as long as possible. It will be available on a day to day basis as long as the water level permits. We have asked Mother Nature and the agencies holding the faucets to give us final say over the lake releases, but neither one will give us the final control. However, we will do all we can to provide what we can for our guests. We are still recommending that guests use the Minersville launch area to launch their boats.

Meet Your Hosts

Verona Rojas

Looking forward to summer in the mountains!

There are times in life when things seem meant to be and simply fall into place and that is what happened for Verona Rojas. After working for municipalities and school districts for many years, she was looking for a new adventure. Shed been cloistered inside offices for years and, in addition, had been caring for a family member. Verona felt the need to explore and wanted to find work that would provide new and varied challenges.

Verona began her career with Kampgrounds of America in 2008 working her way into the Assistant Manager position at the Reno Boomtown KOA. From there she moved to Texas to become the Assistant Manager at the Dallas/Arlington KOA and ultimately became the General Manager of that location. After working in Texas for a few years, she moved on to manage Trinity Lake KOA in 2014.

She says with certainty that her experience working in a variety of positions as a KOA team member has been wonderful and fulfilling. Friendships have developed and have been nourished through mutual lifestyles and experiences. Each day she is filled with gratitude for her new and long-time KOA family of guests and co-workers. In fact, each and every day is unique unto itself with new people, new situations and new opportunities. No day is ever like the previous!
