General Campground Information

We want you, our Guests, to have the most amazing camping experience of your lives! Relax, have fun, stay safe, and enjoy camping at its best.

California Drought Conditions

The California drought is now in its 4th year. Most waterways, including lakes, have been impacted by the severity of the drought. Trinity Lake is no exception. Trinity Lake KOA is able to offer a launch area which is approximately 12 miles from our location, however, our marina will not be available this year. Trinity lake is still an outstanding choice for recreation. The boating is as fun and beautiful as ever and the fishing is incredible. Check out our Trinity Lake KOA facebook for continuing information and photos.

Pool Schedule

Our heated pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day from 10am until dusk 7 days a week!

ATV and Vehicle Rules

Children are prohibited from operating any motorized vehicle while on park property. Any guest or visitor operating a motorized vehicle must have a state issued driver's license. ATVs and other recreational vehicles are meant for off-road activities and are not to be used as recreational vehicles within the boundaries of the park. The park speed limit applies to all vehicles.

Meet Your Hosts

Verona Rojas

Looking forward to summer in the mountains!

There are times in life when things seem meant to be and simply fall into place and that is what happened for Verona Rojas. After working for municipalities and school districts for many years, she was looking for a new adventure. Shed been cloistered inside offices for years and, in addition, had been caring for a family member. Verona felt the need to explore and wanted to find work that would provide new and varied challenges.

Verona began her career with Kampgrounds of America in 2008 working her way into the Assistant Manager position at the Reno Boomtown KOA. From there she moved to Texas to become the Assistant Manager at the Dallas/Arlington KOA and ultimately became the General Manager of that location. After working in Texas for a few years, she moved on to manage Trinity Lake KOA in 2014.

She says with certainty that her experience working in a variety of positions as a KOA team member has been wonderful and fulfilling. Friendships have developed and have been nourished through mutual lifestyles and experiences. Each day she is filled with gratitude for her new and long-time KOA family of guests and co-workers. In fact, each and every day is unique unto itself with new people, new situations and new opportunities. No day is ever like the previous!
