Overall pleasant. We stay at a lot of KOA's and to date this is the only one that doesn't offer coffee. The men's rooms were not cleaned and weren't replenished with paper towels until the morning we left.

Great place to stay. Suggestions. We stayed in the deluxe cabin . The cook stove top would not work the first night. The next day we noticed a timer for the burners that was hidden up out of easy sight. I suggest you post a small sign pointing out the timer. Great place. Friendly staff.

It was just one night but I loved the Camping Cabin. I also loved having a pavilion nearby where I could go and play my guitar and sing a few songs. I will go back.

We always enjoy our stay. However, we were a little disappointed that the floor was not as clean as it has been in the past as well as too many cobwebs. Also we are hoping the tv will be easier to use next time. Overall, with so many remote controls, it’s hard to remember how to use all of them.

Cabin was very dusty. We couldn’t get the heat to turn on, neither could the helper. It came on sometime mid -night. Also TV remote was missing a battery, we tried to open other remote but it had a screw in it so you couldn’t take off the cover. Regardless we loved the cabin and hope to return soon.

Wish the bath house was closer to the camping cabins and the door to the back bed area had no latch. But the place is quiet and peaceful. Will be back again. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here.

The only reason I didn't give my stay a 5 star review was the terribly slow wifi, and the fact that 90% of the property that was along the river was private spots. I understand the more waterfront RV spaces you have equals more $$$.... But unless you have 1 of the coveted waterfront spaces/cabins, the other 80% of the guests can only access the river via one small corner of the vast property

The staff was friendly, and inviting. We called last minute and were readily accommodated with a wonderful cabin. The camp ground was clean, and beautiful! We were sad we could only stay one night.

My family and I have camped out of tent previously in the Great Smokies National Park decided to book a KOA Deluxe Cabin this time around. I have to say that the location was perfect. It was calm and quiet and less crowded than staying closer to the Smokies. The deluxe cabin was so nice and clean. The bunk-beds were perfect for the boys. The cabin was great for spring time in the smokies!

Very enjoyable and peaceful with all the accommodations needed for those like us using the ground's showers and restrooms. Plenty of hot water and clean facilities. We have always enjoy Townsend's KOA after 28 years of visiting and always a great stay.

We loved the location and the park was very nice. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and unfortunately there was a terrible ant problem that made it very unpleasant. Had we not arrived late and only stayed one night, we would have requested other accommodations or a refund.

Our cabin location was beautiful! I loved being able to sit in the swing and enjoy a campfire while looking out at the river. I also loved the cabin decor! Those little extra touches made a big difference. WiFi was great too! I definitely hope to come back someday!

We stayed on a cabin (Unexpectedly) after our camper broke down. Mary, who helped me rebook in the office was fabulous in assisting me. The cabin was very clean and great for our 3 night stay.

Nice little cabin, loved the loft. Great deck with view/noise from the river. Both pocket doors to the bathroom did not operate and the one door was so out of level, there was a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door even when the top was closed and hitting the door jamb.

Very accommodating, we were allowed to check in a bit earlier, which we appreciated! It's just so nice to get away for a while in a clean and friendly campground.

Cades cove is a great place to go and enjoy nature at its best, pigeon forge has a lot of wonderful stores and amusement parks along the strip

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
