Very short sites with fire pits very close to the next site trailer. Looked ot be fishing camp.

Our fire pits are able to be moved to accommodate the various lengths and widths of modern trailers and RV. We have them a safe distance from other trailers, as the pits limit the size of the fire.

Didn't care for the all gravel camp sites.

We are still attempting to get more grass into the campground but we have had issues getting it to grow. In response, we are trying to add more plants and flowers to our sites. We thank you for your feedback as it will help us improve the park

Nice little campground; however, some of the sites with sewer are small for longer trailers. If we get the opportunity to stay there again we would get a site without sewer as they seemed to be larger sites. Beautiful area and the staff at the KOA was great.

We stayed five nights and enjoyed every minute. The KOA store and staff were excellent to work with and always had a welcome smile. My wife loved the book store. If we go back that way again, KOA will definitely be a serious consideration! Casey

We enjoyed having you and we are glad your wife enjoyed the bookstore. We hope you come back our way sometime and stay with us again.

Have stayed at Canyon Ferry at least 3 times. Sharon & staff are very friendly (treat us almost like family). Plan on staying there next year.

We've enjoyed having you every time you stay with us. We look forward to your next stay with us

The pink flamingo was very cute and the campground was nice. But only one trash place was a bummer for us as we were on the other end of the campground. And when we arrived at our site, the previous camper was still in the spot. We had to wait about 20 minutes for him to pack up. Plus there were dogs running free that belonged to employees that would run to our dogs when we tried to walk.

We stayed one night in a cabin. Great if you're here for the fishing. The view, not so much. Clean and comfortable mattress, friendly staff, close to restaurants.

The views from the campground are stunning, as we are surrounded by lots of wildlife and mountain scenery. However, in June 2014, there were some natural factors that were out of our control. We are sadden that this left you with a negative taste. We hope you consider staying with us again.

Pleasant and friendly staff at check in. The convenience store was perfect. The 2 bedroom camping cabin was pretty awesome!...the single bathroom next to the cabins, not so much. The trash can inside the single bathroom was constantly overflowing. The main restrooms stayed relatively clean. Decent place overall, but the dirty single restroom for the cabin users left a not-so-good impression.

The people running the store and checking us in were very friendly. Flamingo Grill has awesome food. The camping area being all gravel and no grass was the only negative to our stay.

Please note that we are working to figure out what we can sustain, plant and grass wise, to improve our campground. We have had some issues getting grass to grow and sustaining the grass. We are attempting to freshen up the sites by adding more colorful plants to them.

Only one shower house and bathroom which were not always the cleanest. Not much for children to do

We have 2 shower/bath houses which are cleaned regularly. 1 is located near the cabins, the other is located in the middle of the park. As far as stuff for the children, we do have a playground & a mini-golf course. We are also located next to a lake so there is the possibility of water recreation

The owners and management there are awesome, however the campground itself was missing the amenities for an extended family stay such as a pool, cable tv, nice playground area for children and grassy areas. great place for adults looking for a place to go fishing but are not spending much time at campground.

We are located next to a lake, which is why the decision was made to not install a pool, as the lake provides water recreation. We are located in an area under served by cable companies. We are trying to get the grass to grow but we have been dealing with extreme weather, which is hampering us.

the KOA itself was pleseant and the staff was great. However the add in your magazine did not have a true representation for this campground. Access to anything on the Lake for anyone who doesn't come there with their own boat was non-existant. No beach, no marina, no boats to rent even. There is nothing to do anywhere near ths campground if you didn't bring your own boat.

It was wonderful to stay at the Silo KOA. The Camping Cabins were great and the proximity to Canyon Ferry Lake was perfect! The KOA staff were welcoming and helpful. Thnak you!

Being long time KOA campers, this place was awful. Women's restrooms were clean but relied heavily on paint to keep that appearance. Only 2 stalls, and one had no lock. Handicapped shower but no handcapped toilet. Too many long term trailers that don't follow common courtesy. Men's toilets were nice.
Sep 09, 2013
The policy of keeping dogs on a leash was not effect as the owners of the KOA let their dogs run free. There were at least 6 dogs we saw always roaming the campground. We know 2 of the dogs were the owners. Hard for anyone to abide by that rule. Also, it felt like we were camping in a trailer court. Most of the trailers around us looked like they lived it them year round and were trashy.

It was a very nice place to stay and nice that we were by the shower area. Nice big area to pitch tents. Would stay again.
