I have always loved going to Sault Ste Marie and staying at KOA. Great service and hospitality. Highly recommended campground. Cabins are awesome too. Will definitely be back soon.

Thank you! We always have a great time at the KOA. Clean family friendly and lots of fun for the kids. This year they enjoyed the go carts and mining for rocks and crystals ! Two thumbs up!:)

Very nice campground on the north side (fifth line) of town. We were only here one night this trip so we didn’t get to explore all the campground had to offer but it was clean and well organized with very nice campsites.

One of the prettiest campgrounds we have ever stayed. We had site 43 and we think it’s the nicest spot at the campground. Friendly staff, clean campground. Will definitely be back’

Only Stayed one night while passing through. Found the campground to be very nice and clean. Sites were a little tight but the amount of trees they had really made it not as noticeable. Campground staff was very friendly. Pool was nice, only 3' 10" Deep in the Deep end but was a good size and warm. Lots of dogs in the park as they have a nice dog agility course so that made it fun as well.

Super fantastiques! Nous allons à autour de 20 campings annuellement, et il est au somment de notre liste depuis ces nombreuses années, alors vous ne vous trompez pas! Si vous aimez les chiens alors c'est un plus car il y a des entrainements de chiens pour compétitions et nous avons pu y assister. Propre, gens sympathiques et le camping site est impeccable !

Super dog friendly property, well maintained and clean sites. Only complaint is that they don’t allow rugs. Would be nice if concrete pads were standard at sites for picnic tables and chairs.

Fantastic stay, clean washrooms, beautifully landscaped. Well taken care off. Love the small agility course for our dachshunds.

Staff went the extra mile when we had to extend our stay due to a medical emergency. Absolutely beautiful property and caring staff. Go stay here…you will not be disappointed!!

Wow. I’m not a KOA camper regularly but this place exceeded all my expectations. Beautiful park, friendly staff, well laid out and very pleasant location. Clean, clean, clean.

This was our 10th year to spend time at this KOA…..this year we chose a deluxe site #35….absolutely beautiful setting…..this park is # 1 with us….everything is good, not one bad thing to say…..love this place and will be back for sure….thanks Bill & Joan

The rates were fine, the site was fine and the location in the city is fine. What bothers us is the cost of visitors. We go to see family (son, wife and 2 kids) but to have them visit us is almost $50 a day with a vehicle! Seriously? And that could just be to have dinner. Rather expensive. We are looking for alternatives for sure.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Visitor rates are just $5 after 6 pm. Guest has stayed here 9 times in the past 5 years and each time comments about his dissatisfaction with the visitor policy.

The location is beautiful, and quiet . The staff was very welcoming. Unfortunately, the septic system seemed to be overwhelmed and badly needing attention. We could not sit outside our unit to enjoy the sunset due to the smell.

We're sorry that was your experience. Our septic system is fine, and the smell could have been coming from another guest's sewer. This was not brought to our attention, and unfortunately we are unable to look into it after the fact.

We haven't stayed in many KOAs but this by far was the nicest one we've been to. Very nice wooded surroundings, plentiful facilities, and helpful staff.

We were only there for 1 night on our way back to Toronto however it is definitely a nice spot and we look forward to staying longer on a another trip.

We had a good staycation but was extremely disappointed when friends booked and had to cancel the rest of their stay (3 nights) after the first night due to an emergency. No refund at all? Penalty , yes but nothing at all but full payment? That is unacceptable- This KOA has become more and more unfriendly since covid - higher prices, noisy workers and seems to be unwilling to talk to customers.

Nice camping space but like ALL KOA’s they are HUGELY overpriced. If I would have known there was another RV camping place close by I wouldn’t have stayed at the KOA. $74 a night is way over the top. KOA are my last resort….ALWAYS! I would rather boondock. The people were pleasant but not $74 a night pleasant!

Guest's site was $65.89 plus tax; could have saved 10% with a KOA Rewards card. We appreciate that there are various types of camping available; our campground offers many amenities in a clean, safe environment. Some may prefer no amenities at a different campground, or a parking lot to boondock.

The site was not what I thought I booked and was told they may have to change sites. I was missing the sewer option and told they were all full but sites were actually available. The staff was not helpful nor interested in making any adjustments and rude to my spouse. There are too many rules posted everywhere and stating we're being watched. Not a welcoming or relaxing place. Will not return.

Guest selected a site online that was water/electric only (no sewer). Upon arrival on a Friday night in July when the park was completely full, was upset with staff that we were unable to find a full hook up site for him. Guests are encouraged to ensure that they're booking the desired site type.

We have never stayed at a KOA before and didn’t know what to expect. It was amazing!! As we drove in the first thing that we noticed was the landscaping, the lawns/gardens/planters and groomed to perfection. Check in was seamless and the owners are fantastic; so helpful and so friendly. Everything was SPOTLESS - washrooms/ laundry/and our site. We have since recommended it to all of our friends!

just a wonderful campground , clean and well kept ,loved the trailer wash area, travelled from B.C to Newfoundland and back, stayed here both ways, first thing i did both ways was wash my truck and trailer ,only place that we stayed that had a wash , just love it .

I would give this KOA a 5* it has everything you need including a doggie play area, everything is so clean & tidy Just a heads up though the pool is under construction, so double check if open if that's your thing.

Would recommend this camp spot 10x over! Clean, very well kept, safe. Dogs welcomed, and they have everything you'd need!

Wonderful campground. You're in town but you feel like your in the middle of no where which is amazing. The staff and owners are fantastic. The moment you pull up to check - in you know that customer service and your stay is their top priority!
