Rendezvous in the Sault is a living history event that will take place along Historic Water Street at the City Hall Grounds and at the Historic Homes. In addition to local participants, over 115 visiting historical re-enactors, musicians, entertainers and merchants will set up camps and displays with presentations and demonstrations on military and civilian life in the period of 1668-1840. Food, music, dancing, cannon firing, drum and fife corps, puppet shows, storytelling, crafts and games will be just some of the fun things to see and do on Saturday and Sunday of the last full weekend of July. Among the many items of special interest are presentations by the Michigan Surveyors Reenactment Group who will display early surveying equipment and maps and discuss the methods used to survey Michigan.

The tournament starts Friday, September 1st at 12:01am and runs through Sunday, September 3rd at Noon. The U.S. Weigh-in Station is located at Aune-Osborn Park in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on east Portage Ave. U.S. Weigh-in Station Hours are from 10am-1pm and 7pm-10pm during the tournament.
On the Canadian side of the St Marys River Salmon Slam Weigh-in Station will be at Bens Bait and Tackle 61 Wigwaus St., Garden River, Ontario from 8am-6pm during the tournament.
U.S. and Canadian weigh-in stations close Sunday at 12 noon sharp! Prizes will be awarded after weigh-in at Aune-Osborn Park, Sault Ste. Marie, MI
