Directions
Located 1 mile east of Cedar Point Drive on U.S. Route 6 (Cleveland Road).
Coming on the Ohio turnpike or from the west, Route 2: exit onto Route 250 North (Sandusky). Follow all the signage to Cedar Point, we are a mile East of the entrance.
Coming from the east on Route 2: exit at Rye Beach Road. Follow Route 6 west for about 4.5 miles. We are located on the right hand side of Route 6, just past Kasper Buick car lot.

The Sandusky KOA is located on U.S. 6, 1 mile east of Cedar Point Drive. We have a wide variety of pull-through sites and shaded back-in sites. Our KOA will accommodate you with plenty of clean restrooms, firewood, and ice on premises. If you're coming to Cedar Point, the Sandusky KOA is the place to stay for the BEST in Ohio camping!
If you come in after hours, you can use the night registration mailbox located at the back of the store.

Sandsuky/Bayshore KOA is operated by the Hoffman Family. The Hoffman's have been in the camping industry for over 40 years and since we became a KOA Campground only a couple seasons ago we have been loving it, the guest's make it worth it and makes it one of the most enjoyable jobs,the number one goal here at Sandusky/Bayshore KOA is to make all of our camping guests feel like part of the family.
We have added many new Amenities, Activities & Accommodations to make your camping experience one you will remember and talk about for years to come.Jump Pillow, Snack Shack, Gem Mine, Bike Rentals,Movie Night,Wii Games and more so what are you waiting for? Welcome to the Sandusky Bayshore KOA. We offer many excellent activities programs, Family Movie Nights, scavenger hunts, family oriented events, Arts & crafts, sports, handmade souvenirs to take home, Tie-Dye, Jump Pillow, Gem Mine, Bike Rentals, Black Light Game Room and much more! (Some crafts require a small additional cost so be sure to ask for a copy of our weekly activities list when you check-in.
And when October hits its time for our "Haunted Hay Ride"
every weekend we offer spooky themed activities,movie night,Pumpkin painting,snack crafts you can eat ,hay ride and more,but make sure to be here on Saturday Night when our Hayride becomes "THE HAUNTED HAYRIDE" travel through the darkest parts of our campground to see what lurks in the dark....do you have....the guts?

Cabins
Park cabins include 1 double bed and 1 set of single bunk beds in the same room, with a small kitchen area and private bathroom with shower. NOTE: A mini park cabin is only equipped with a micro refrigerator, not a full kitchen area. All units have heat, air conditioning, cable television, parking for one vehicle, picnic table, and campfire ring.

Bike Week In JUne
Hey Campers just wanted to give all you the heads up that from June 1st to June 10th is Ohio Bike Week and we have many Bikers stay at our Campground, All of our Biker friends have been with us for many seasons and they are part of our KOA family, so we just wanted to let you know it does get a little loud during the week so don't let this discourage your vacation we just wanted to give you the heads up.

Independence Day (4th of July BBQ)

Join us for our October Haunted Hayride - Join us in the Pavilion for Pumpkin Painting, Tie Dye, Crafts and more or if you like to be scared try a ride on our Haunted Hay Ride, Travel through our spooky campground and hope you make it back (Event is subject to change due to weather or attendance)
Blue Grass and Pig Roast
Join us August 24th and 25th for our first Blue Grass and Pig Roast, enjoy local Blue Grass Bands as they play the sweet sound of Blue Grass Country and on Saturday we will be having our Pig Roast, music both days and fun filled activities for all ages.
