From this shady, quiet campground in the heart of Utah, head along old U.S. 89 to explore small towns along the state's Heritage Highway. See the towering, ornate Manti Temple and Big Rock Candy Mountain that inspired Burl Ives to write a song. Fish in clear, cold Fish Lake, then drive through Capitol Reef National Park. Enjoy history? Don't miss Fremont Indian State Park, where a prehistoric village was unearthed in 1983. Continue on to Cove Fort Historic Site, a way station for travelers in 1867, now restored to its original quality. The campground is close to it all. It's just a short drive to an 18-hole golf course, grocery stores and restaurants. Rent bikes, swim in the pool, shoot pool in the game room or play mini golf, horseshoes or basketball. Check out this KOA's Deluxe Cabins!

KOA Care Camps

This badge has been earned by this KOA Campground for compassion and support of KOA Care Camps. It is given out following our Big Weekend, and is in effect for one year.

Someday, cancer will be nothing more than a memory. Until that day, KOA Care Camps are here to bring hope, joy, healing and fun to kids with cancer. Working together, KOA owners, the KOA home office and great KOA campers like you raise funds for a single cause: to send kids with cancer to medically supervised camps where they have a great time with other kids who understand what they're going through. They do it all while receiving the treatments they need, absolutely free of charge! Until cancer is a memory, KOA Care Camps will continue to help these sweet kids make terrific memories of their own.
