Fishing

Located at the campground and nearby. Our lake is spring fed and is full of nature. Northern pike, bass, perch, pickerel, mud pout.

Turtles and frogs are a plenty and when the bullfrogs are chatting it is a beautiful sound. In June and July the turtles lay their eggs and if you're careful not to disturb the mom you can actually watch her dig the nest and lay her eggs.

Canada Day Celebration and Fireworks

Jul 2 - 5, 2015

During our Canada Day holiday on or around July 1st every year we celebrate our nation's birthday in a big way.

Great suppers, wonderful breakfast, dance, kids games, flag raising, face painting and temporary tattoos, but most of all our fireworks bonanza.

2015 offers us a special opportunity to combine July 1st and July 4th. Our fireworks show will be Saturday July 4th.

It is always successful and the park fills up quickly so book early.

Corn Boil

Aug 1, 2015 - Aug 4, 2017 , Once A Year

First Monday of August is a long holiday in Ontario Canada. We celebrate the busiest camping weekend of the summer with a corn boil and sausage on a bun supper. The corn is supplied by McGregor farms locally grown and famous for its crisp sweet summer flavour.

Breakfast Sunday morning on a long weekend is pancakes and breakfast sausage with orange juice and coffee.

Saturday night dance with a DJ is always a popular event and a great opportunity for Mom and Dad to dance up a storm with their children.

Meet Your Hosts

"G'Day Eh!"

Greg and Angela Burgess have six children all married and 11 grandchildren. Even when the camper population is low there is always lots of activity in the park.

We treat our campers like family and are quick with smiles, advice or even a laugh or a hug.

Every camper is welcomed with a heart felt smile and we endeavour to ensure that you will have a relaxed stay while in our park.
