The campground was lovely as was the staff. I wouldn't recommend to others for two reasons #1 is that the pool was closed - we should have been notified that the pool was not open so we could have made alternate plans (like staying at the Pueblo North KOA where the pool looked very inviting) and secondly, the campground is IN Colorado City and should be listed as such.

Staff was friendly and helpful. All utilities worked well and the site had plenty of room. The dog run was adequate. Some shade.

Office staff and ground crew were very nice and friendly. All dirt and rocks. Pool was not available. Would stay for an overnight if in the area but probably not any longer.

Very accommodating, wanted to stay an extra night to enjoy Lake Isabelle and the great Hollydot golf course. They were pretty full but moved things around and extended our stay.

The only issue we had was the people next to us were loud until after 1230 am. It was told that campsites were suppose to be quiet by 10 pm. It was have been nice to have that enforced by an employee that lives on site. Very disappointing.

The people who checked us in and taking care of the CG were very welcoming and friendly. The park itself though was a disappointment. We arrived at noon for a 1:00 check in and were told we'd have to pay an extra $10.00 for early check in. The pool was closed and empty and the hot tub was locked. There was a small patch of grass next to our site and the dog park had grass also, so that was nice.

Enjoyed my stay staff was great especially Gary Wish they hadn’t charged me early arrival for $30 for 2 hours early even though my reserved space was open

Great WiFi. Only one thing: Why have the irrigation/sprinkler system come on in the evening when people are still sitting at their picnic tables? For that reason I should deduct a star, or two....

Playground & equipment were nice. It's hard to pay KOA prices and not have a pool. This one is down for renovations for months but it looks like it was drained and just left. Bath house has nice hot showers & water temperature is constant. Mini golf was a fun edition but all of the astroturf was wrinkled near the cups. Very attentive staff almost intrusive, I didn't feel comfortable exploring.

The staff was outstanding. Fun and very helpful. The view was excellent. The bathrooms were clean. Overall the campground was very well kept .When we come back thru that area we would definitely stay here.

Very friendly staff. Escorted us to our site and made sure we were all set. Didn’t use any amenities, but looked like they had a lot to offer. Dog park was disappointing because grass was overgrown.

Employees asked me three different times in a 4 day span to move my vehicle to three different spots. Each time saying that spot is fine. Would be helpful if all employees could get on the same page.

We told you to move your vehicle behind the social hall building, you however felt the need to not follow directions and keep moving where you wanted so we would have to tell you again. Please obey the rules the first time and we will not have to tell you again.

Checked in 3 hours early and was charged $30 for being early even though the slot was empty. I've been a frequent customer at KOA and don't think this was right.

Really nice people with a beautiful backdrop of pine-covered mountains. Everything at this KOA was in good working order and they even have a breakfast there, although you should know that you have to reserve a seat in advance as they only make so much. A good experience in a tranquil setting.

It was very convenient and good for our camping group to be able to use the gathering/game room for our evening get togethers. I was most disappointed that the pool was not open but things happen we understand. Our dog was glad to have grass to walk upon.

Had a reservation and upon arrival the rude office person informed me They put someone in that spot. They would try to figure out so I should just go get something to eat. The office person was very rude and her attitude was she didnt care and was creating excuses why they couldnt keep a reservation. I wont be back to that KOA. Very disappointing compared to the other KOA's I have visited.

When you try to check in at 7 am it is not possible due to sites being rented with guest the night before. If you want to come that early you need to reserve for the night before. Goodluck finding another campground that isn't busy and will accommodate this. We try to do the best we can!

sites had fresh gravel, grass was very nice between pull thru sites. We were in a 'new' area and some shade trees would have been nice, i guess that will come with time. Couple of corners were a bit tight and may frighten a novice fifth wheel driver. This is one of our go to camps and we keep coming back...can I give a better endorsement?

This campground is easy access off I 25 at the Colorado City exit #74. The staff is very friendly and they escort you to your site. We paid a little more for a pull through with a patio, grill and fire pit. We were in E 14. The site is level and the views of the mountains are fantastic. You do not hear interstate from the campground. There is a restaurant just across interstate called Three Sisters. The food is absolutely incredible. If we pass back through this area we will stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in an RV and had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and wonderful, plus it was the perfect distance from Colorado Springs, great sand dunes national park and several other stops. Highly recommend!
