It was my first time staying at a KOA. The facilities were amazing but the staff were out of this world. It felt more like a community than a rental. We experienced car trouble and the staff went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. I will be reaching out to KOA corporate to sing their praises.

Beautiful campground with incredibly friendly staff. It was the perfect basecamp for all kinds of adventures in the Ouray area and the coziest place to come "home" to each evening.

There was a road closure which caused us to dribe an extra 200 miles to get to Ouray. About halfway there the sweet lady at the KOA called us to see how we were doing and to remind us of expected freezing weather. She said we could upgrade to a heated cabin if we wanted. What an angel to be so thiughtful- definetly going back. KOA Ouray is the best!

We’ve been coming to Ouray just about every year, and there’s no place we want to stay other than KOA, we love this place, staff is very friendly and helpful, very nice and clean community and the best thing for us they’re pet friendly, so yes, I highly recommend this place.

Would have been nice if the cafe was open but other than that everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay so much. Loved our deluxe cabin by the stream….so relaxing. The entire place is so clean and beautiful and staff so friendly and helpful. We will return.

Lovely campground. Our cabin was super cute. We absolutely loved having a grill for us to use, and huge bonus was the dog wash station. It was nice to go home with clean pups! Negatives- the hosts that were around camp weren’t friendly (the check in lady in the office was amazing), and our cabin was right next to the dumpster, which isn’t a deal except it was full and trash was on ground both

First time at this location but won’t be the last. Located well off the road and in an area with plenty of trees, providing quiet and solitude. Stayed in a deluxe cabin along a stream. Customer service was great.

We love Ouray KOA this is our second time staying there. There are hiking trails to take my dogs, the accommodations are great. Staff are all friendly and helpful. We will be back.

It appears the new owners care a bit more about the quality of stay instead of volume of campers. Much better experience. Almost didn't come back after last stay in 2022, never had been treated so poorly. But again, I believe things are looking up.

We love the cozy environment at the campground and the friendly workers. The ice cream in the gift shop was delicious. Our cabin was pristine and well stocked. The views and local attractions make this campground our favorite vacation spot.

Nice location, nice store, nice people. Only issue is crazy loud heater in the camper cabin. We upgraded to cabin because it was cloud. Couldn't sleep with the loud fan in heater. Needs to be replaced before next customer.

Great experience with Jeff, Chelsea, and Dove! The stay was great and I’d like to stay again. There are two reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars - (1) the floor in the cabin under the bed was in bad shape with spider webs, cob webs, etc - and (2), the showers had no separation from the bathrooms, which made the floor more gross. It would be a lot nicer if there was a locker room between the two.

The campground was immaculate. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a super great kid friendly place to stay. Whether it was the new playgrounds, the giant trampoline, the trick-or-treating, or the family movie night, the kids were THRILLED to be part of it. Thank you Ouray KOA! We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely book with you all again.

Great campground in a beautiful part of Colorado. We got in late, but night reservation was easy to use. Excellent facilities, and incredibly kind and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Check in was a Breese. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The campground was nice with lots of trees. A bounce pad was there. We tried it out and it was so much fun. Showers were good and clean. I will definitely stay here again.

The interior cabin space is tight, especially if for more than two people. But the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Friendly host. It was a plus that there was a laundry room available.

It is always a great place to stay, but some of the upgrades are nice, keyless entry, having a pile of wood at our cabin, and of course the staff...always friendly and helpful!!

This is the best KOA we've stayed at. My 7yr old daughter had a wonderful time. Loved the extra fall activities that were scheduled and all the employees were very friendly. We will be back!

We had a great stay! Deluxe cabin was very clean and well stocked. Neat little store and friendly people. Early morning coffee was greatly appreciated in the cafe.

First time we stayed in KOA cabin. Please include info telling guests to bring bedding. We had nothing but bare mattresses! Also heater instructions would have been helpful. We froze 1st night! Couldn't figure out how to set up heater till next day. Outstanding staff, facilities, & location made up for small glitches.

The gentleman who checked us in was great! The only issue we had during our stay was that the coffee shop wasn’t open during posted open hours. I’m sure you probably have staffing issues like the rest of the country.

So improved over last year. New mattresses, clean rooms, heaters, air conditioners, nice staff, bathrooms very clean. I especially enjoyed the radio in the shower area. Love the new management. They seem to really care about this unique property.

That will be my first and last time staying at a KOA. Absolutely no privacy - everyone is on top of each other. Much too expensive for a camping cabin.

Our camping cabin was clean and close to the bathrooms. Our kids had a great time on the jump pad and the playground. The location to Ouray is perfect.

Everything was perfect! The Staff is amazing. The campgrounds and activities were fun, the breakfast in the morning at the restaurant was delicious and the bathrooms were very clean :) We loved our stay with KOA.

Great check in/out. Nice playground and excellent bounce pad. Hot tub was out of order. We stayed in the cabins with exceptionally uncomfortable beds.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The mattresses on both the queen bed and the bunk beds could use some upgrades. The bunkbed mattress was so hard we needed to buy a foam pad just to make it bearable, the queen bed was old an worn out. Otherwise, it was a nice cabin. Would probably rent one again.

The staff is awesome! The deluxe cabin was incredible right next to a stream. Don't miss this one if staying in the area. If planning on staying in a Deluxe cabin call ahead and make sure the restaurant is open so you can make other plans for eating if not. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We spent three nights here and had a great time. We have a camper van and have camped all over the US in KOAs and others. This was our favorite KOA. It is set back from the roads so no road noise which most have. It's quite big with many options . There are lots of trees and a rushing stream through the middle. We had a great view. The staff is super nice They rent jeeps at the site . We rented one and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back
