This was our maiden voyage with our new camper. We chose the New Burn KOA because of proximity to where we live since we just wanted to get familiar with the camper. We didn’t have any of the equipment we needed and the KOA staff we very helpful in getting us what we needed. The campground was beautiful and very clean, bathrooms and showers included. You will enjoy your stay, guaranteed.

Even though we only have one dry day, we had a wonderful three day weekend at Newbern Holiday KOA. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Will be back soon.!

Nice little park, the pull-thru site for our 38 foot MotorHome required us to back out down a drive as it was a dead end behind the office, water pressure was good, electric stable, staff was very nice and helpful. A bit on the pricy side for our site.

Nice area with good view of river and surrounding area, and good customer service. However, there were some construction in process.

We enjoy this campground and normally travel with a group of 3 or 4 others who like to camp close to each other. It's disheartening that we book months ahead of time in order to get sites together and are told that in addition to a deposit in order to get a specific campsite ahead of arrival we have to pay a fee. We have not encountered that with any campgrounds including other KOA's.

This was our first time staying at a KOA. It was fabulous! Everyone was courteous and helpful. Check-in was easy. The facilities were wonderful. And we will be back.

Beautiful campground and well-manicured property. The view of the Neuss River is amazing! The staff was very friendly and cordial. One of the best KOA's we have stayed at this year.

Finally a KOA that is worth the cost! I’m a full-timer and this is BY FAR the best KOA I’ve stayed at. The entire camp is super clean, the bathrooms immaculate (hair dryers are a plus), communication and staff professionalism was superb, and sites were good sized and nicely maintained. I generally choose KOAs as a last resort but I would highly recommend New Bern.

We we set to be there until Sunday but was having problem with the camper we had not heat. I was really surprised that the campground refunded my last night back to us. the only complaint about our stay was the campers next door did not come back until around 1230am and they were very noisy which lasted about 45 minutes to an hour. there noisy both nights but no as bad as the last night. Be back

We stay at a lot of KOAs. This is the best of them all. Spacious sites, absolutely clean with no litter anywhere. Great staff. We'll be back.

First time camping at New Ben KOA. Couldn't ask for a better experience. We have an autistic child, events like the haunted "Hey" ride, spooky ghost train, and trick-or-treating kept this fun weekend packed with activities to keep him engaged and entertained. The bounce house was always up, the park is decent, and the "Catch-and-Release" pond has big fish! We'll be Back!

Been here many times and we keep returning because your campground is so well run. We appreciate that everything is kept so clean, rules are enforced and you always have fun events for families to enjoy. We're seniors and love watching the children play so freely. We passed out candy Saturday night and loved seeing the children trick or treating. We're lucky that you are only an hour away.

We camped in our RV, so I can't speak to the cabins, but the public facilities were immaculate. Lots to do for campers if all ages and very close to many local attractions. The camp store had all the items you would expect to find, including fishing bait. The staff was very friendly.

Just wrapping up a three day stay at this KOA. We were needing a spot that was level and convenient to our destination but this place is so much more! The basics: spots are level, clean and easy to navigate. Full hookups and picnic table at every spot. Price is very reasonable and many options to upgrade your stay with patios/grills/cabins. The extras: By far the best wifi we have encountered at any rv park. Full access throughout the camp and we had no issues working from our laptops. The bathhouse and laundry facilities are super clean and easy to find. The smaller cute bathhouses that were just added are super convenient! The camp store is amazing, such a great selection of needed items, loved the selection of local jams, jellies, seasonings and snacks. The pool is in a perfect location and really gives you that resort style vibe. The superstars: The staff and fishing dock. You can tell the staff take great care of this property, constantly attending to the park upkeep and making sure everything is running smoothly. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The dock! So peaceful and such a great amenity. We loved walking there daily and taking it all in. Loved having water views and swinging benches to watch the sunset. Highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very very clean grounds. Dogs must be on leash except at the dog park. Bathrooms are super clean but shower stalls are super small. I'm only 5'8" and weigh 140 and had a hard time fitting in the shower. Water access is nice with pretty areas to kayak in. 4 washers and dryers available
