Loud trains late evening and early mornings. Very weak WiFi. Nice place and lots of great scenery everywhere.
Sep 27, 2016
nice camp ground. they helped usnoutbon overflow parking. Thank You

Great stay with the exception of one guest kicking up clouds of dust with their ATV. When reported to KOA staff they dealt with the problem.
Sep 26, 2016
Great campground.
Sep 26, 2016
Friendly Staff but like the condition of Everything else in Mt Shasta, it is Dirty and dilapidated and I met likely would not return.

Last minute stop. Friendly staff. Clean resort. Will use again as halfway point from the Bay Area to Bend.

Too short of a stay but convenient locale. Heard trains but only until falling asleep. Pretty with all the trees. Cute community and area.

Great stay, lovely peaceful walk among the trees, only 4 stars, no working lock on women's restroom. mixup on space to park in, although I think we got a better space with the mix up. would stay again.

Nice campground. Close to town. Very dusty. Cable TV wires need replacing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The dust I have to admit is a problem that we work very hard at controlling. Its not your normal dirt is very tiny particles that goes everywhere. Best solution is drive slower and tell neighbors to drive slower. We've posted that all over. IT HELPS !! The cable were working with the company to fix.

Very nice.
Sep 21, 2016
I enjoyed my stay but the place could use updating.
Sep 21, 2016
Good KOA 2nd time we've stayed.
Sep 21, 2016
Bathrooms very dirty. Wifi password given incorrect. TV did not work. Spots not level and hookups at end rather than middle of sites. Train horns all night. Not much to like here

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Were sorry you were displeased with the restrooms Our staff works diligently to keep the bathrooms clean. Next time if you see a problem please immediately call it to our attention. As for Wifi, the codes do work, many times it might be your device or a blocker you have installed in your software.

Friday and Saturday nights were almost at capacity, with many visitors on a one-night stay. The bathrooms were small for the crowd and cleaning staff was overwhelmed. Great location, easy walk/bike ride to downtown.
Sep 20, 2016
Beautiful facility. Will definitely be back so we can stay a couple days.
Sep 20, 2016
Great location. Friendly owners. Quiet sites.
Sep 20, 2016
Gravel or pavement or grass would help this KOA immensely! It was very dirty and dusty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Even though are facility is in the mountains we still suffer from the drought. The City does allow us to water but not enough to keep grasses green and eliminate dust. We work with a company that puts down a substance to cut down dust but guests do not observe the speed limits and it kicks up dust.

You need to fix your electrical receiver plug would not stay in socket kept cutting off the power.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you visit our facility next Spring, you will find many improvements, one being the electrical that you mention. We take the service we offer very highly and will always correct or remedy a problem right away. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Staff friendly and helpful. site and facilities adequate. As with all KOAs expensive especially for smaller rigs.
Sep 19, 2016
I realize September is toward the end of the season, but some sort of dust control would be a benefit.

The facilities were very clean staff was very helpful. The grounds were enjoyable to stroll, the views were great. The only downside were the train tracks and the associated trains at night.
Sep 17, 2016
This was our third stay on our way to Washington state. We enjoy the scenery and cool climate. The staff are always pleasant and helpful!! And the facilities are clean.
Sep 17, 2016
Internet code wasn't working and office was closed. Bit dusty prob due to water issues.
Sep 15, 2016
RV sites were just fine dirt that got on everything. Our cable did not work.
Sep 15, 2016
A bit hard to find but worth the effort. In fact, I recommended this KOA to a family this morning who were going to Weed, CA. The site areas could use a bit more gravel, but the sites were nice.

a beautiful setting
Sep 13, 2016
Nice campground, nice setting. Would have given a 5, but noise from train was sometimes annoying.
Sep 13, 2016
Bathrooms need locks that work. Too many transients in the area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Mens bathroom the lock was replaced and works GREAT, the woman's does need replaced and has been ordered. Just this year alone we have had to replace the lock twice for damage that should be preventable. Kids, guests and ?? I cannot phantom why they have to break the bathroom doors.

Friendly person in the office.
Sep 12, 2016
Friendly & clean.

I really like my stay at your Camp. My kids loved it. I hesitate to go back because of 1 worker at your camp. She was mean, unprofessional, impolite unnecessarily, and very unhelpful. I don't want to use the word racist but.... Too bad that I don't have her name. I encountered her 3 times I am unwilling to go back to talk to her. Just a mean person.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Everyone has bad days and say stuff they regret but this one we had to personally contact, for what he said. We have it an email SAVED. You NEVER call someone those words. This girl is the opposite in every way and will go out of the way in extreme to make guests feel comfortable and welcome always!

Does not represent the pictures on the Internet Total dirt everywhere, no grass. Will drive an extra 100 miles to find another place to stay.
Sep 09, 2016
beautiful camping in the trees. the entrance is a bit tight but doable.
Sep 09, 2016
The campgrounds was clean with lots of shade trees to keep us cool. The staff member checking us in was very friendly & helpful. I happened to meet one of the grounds people who was a really nice guy and answered all my questions. While we couldn't see Mt. Shasta itself, our stay was very pleasant. We will definitely stay there again.
Sep 08, 2016
nice forest feel staff was nice, wifi great. only glitch was we were promised 50 amp site but given 30 amp. not cool with 2 ac units thankfully it was not hot
Sep 08, 2016
Love the campground and site number 2.
Sep 08, 2016
Very run down, connections were very old, dirt spaces, not level. Beautiful area.
Sep 08, 2016
We were there for Labor Day weekend, so there were a lot of people there. Bathrooms were crowded & humid. Dusty from vehicles driving thru, even after the crowds left. Some spaces need more gravel. Staff was helpful. No grass in some spaces & the table for space 38 was way out of place & no shade. My awning only gave me about 4 feet of shade. People walking thru that are not camped there.
Sep 07, 2016
Great campsite, nice and close to town (walking distance). Sites were roomy, clean and well maintained. Pool was great but just a bit cold.Staff were friendly and very informative.
Sep 07, 2016
Too much dirt and dust. No grass.
Sep 07, 2016
The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was very clean especially considering it was at the end of Labor Day . We will definitely stay there again.
Sep 07, 2016
I saw a small sign on the freeway but when I pulled off to find it there were no follow up signs to find this lovely place. I did not have cell coverage todo out of luck. I was able to place a call to my wife and she looked it up on the home computer and she was able to give me instructions orally. This park is well hidden but one of the very best! Sam Frazier

Campground felt very unsafe. Broken down fence in back of campground had young men coming and going walking through campsites. Cars parked in a site running All nite then occupants walking up to cars looking in Windows. Very very odd then we hear about a theft. Women's bathrooms very dirty and for 2days one stall out of order.we stay at many many KOAS. Sorry but this was not a great experience.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Campground is safe but unfortunately we cannot predict or eliminate who it was walking in or around the grounds. They might have been other campers. If you see something out of place call it to our attention, don't wait just to leave a comment. Bathrooms the staff works very hard to keep them clean.
