Palmer Gulch Stables & Chuck Wagon Dinner Show
Enjoy the Black Hills on horseback! Several different trail rides are available for riders of all skill levels. Scenic rides are available through the Black Elk Wilderness Area in the Black Hills National Forest.
Chuck Wagon Dinner Show offers the most authentic chuck wagon supper show in the Black Hills! Guests are even picked up on horse-drawn wagons. Enjoy a taste of the cowboy life with a steak dinner, campfire, and a country music show.
The Mickelson Trail is a hundred mile long rails-to-trails route just three miles from the campground. The trails from the KOA are suited to mountain biking. Fun Cycles are the vehicle of choice on the KOA.
Enjoy shopping at our three stores. The KOA Main Store is set up for all your grocery and souvenir needs. Stop over at Grapes and Grinds for your wine and coffee needs. We didn't forget about our most important guests, KIDS. Head down to Fiddlesticks for all of your fun and games items.
The area right around the KOA, including Mount Rushmore, is emerging as one of the premier climbing locales in the country. Lessons and gear are available locally.
The nearest course is in Custer. Meadowbrook in Rapid City is one of the top ten municipal courses nationally. Of course, none of this compares to the Kowboy Kountry Klub mini-golf at the KOA.
