Jason and Amanda Baker spent the past 20 years working in the corporate world- Jason as a Production Manager for an industrial turbine engine company and Amanda as a Property Manager for commercial properties in Dallas, Texas. The demanding careers didn't allow the time we wanted to spend with our 2 young children so we made the decision to leave the corporate world. We wanted to own our own business- not just any business, but a business we were passionate about. We started by listing the things we enjoyed to do. . . camping, anything to do with the outdoors, serving others, etc, then it hit us. The business had to be a campground. Understanding KOA is the gold standard for campgrounds, we made our dreams a reality with the Mt Pleasant, Texas KOA campground.If you're looking for a great camping experience with plenty of shade trees and swimming pool for those hot Texas summer days or relaxing in the evening with the family fishing at the catch and release pond, we'd be happy to have you come by and stay with us.
