Meet Your Hosts
David Masarik, manager of the Louisville South KOA Kampground, was working in a casino's Human Resources department when his obvious rapport with people was noticed. Before he could find and hire a manager for the casino's new campground, he was made the campground General Manager.
"We have all experienced bad customer service, but when customers visits my KOA I want our great customer service to make them forget about the daily grind and re-connect with their family and friends. I want campers to tell other people that they have had a great time, recharged their batteries and bonded with their families," says David.
David credits his staff with making the campground a success. "I am so proud of my staff. Through great customer service, they make our campers feel relaxed so they can have a great time."
Whenever David's family comes for a visit, they go camping. "We won't have seen each other for a year or more, so we catch up on all the news sitting around the camp fire. The children love swimming and fishing and I love the happy memories of camping with my family. I know the children will always remember those times we spent together."
Apart from spending time with his family, David enjoys fishing, watching movies and cheering his favorite football team.
