Campground Activities
Activities on the campground every weekend after Memorial Day through to Labor Day. October holds two special Halloween weekends.
Lots to do.
Here at the Louisville South KOA, our recreation team has discovered the cure for spring fever: planning summer camping getaways. It's actually part of our job to create a fun experience for our campers-a task we don't take lightly. Whether you're playing a cornhole tournament or unwinding in our pool, boredom is not an option.
Fun.
We have many fun activities at Louisville South KOA. You can enjoy a nature walk along the river and caves, fishing, horseshoes, mini golf, volleyball, basketball, ping pong, or spend some time in our game room. Every weekend during the summer we have crafts, tie dye and many other family orientated games.
Outdoor Cinema
The outdoor cinema is like a drive-in movie without a car. You can enjoy a family-oriented film under the stars. Grab your blanket and some change for the concession stand for freshly-popped popcorn, tasty treats and drinks. Be prepared to get comfortable and enjoy the show!
Kamp K9 Interactive Dog Park
At KOA, we strive to offer something for every member of your family. Lose the leash and let your dog run free within our fenced play land designed exclusively for canines. Alternatively, you may wish to walk them along our wooded trails.
Mini Golf
The whole family will have hours of putting fun on the mini green. Challenge each other to see who will be the first to overcome the ramps, bunkers and other obstacles of our 9 hole course. It's a hole-in-fun!
Meet Your Hosts
"Great new Hot Deal for summer season. Call and ask about our extend weekends."
David Masarik, manager of the Louisville South KOA Campground, was working in a casino's Human Resources department when his obvious rapport with people was noticed. Before he could find and hire a manager for the casino's new campground, he was made the campground General Manager.
David credits his staff with making the campground a success. "I am so proud of my staff. Through great customer service, they make our campers feel relaxed so they can have a great time."
Apart from spending time with his family, David enjoys fishing, watching movies and cheering his favorite football team.
