Every Day Fun is GREAT at KOA
We have many fun activities at Louisville South KOA. You can enjoy a nature walk along the river and caves, fishing, horseshoes, mini golf, volleyball, basketball, or spend some time in our game room. Every weekend during the summer we have crafts, ice cream socials and many other family orientated activities.
Grab your blanket or lawn chair and join us on the lawn for a great movie. The movie will be posted for parents approval before time. Concession stand available.
Kamp K9 Interactive Dog Park
Great fun for our four-legged family members. Use at your own risk and please follow posted rules.
The whole family will have hours of putting fun on the mini green. Challenge each other to see who will be the first to overcome the ramps, bunkers and other obstacles of our 9 hole course. It's a hole-in-fun!
What do you get when you cross a trampoline with a bounce castle? A JUMP PILLOW. This activity provides countless hours of exercise and entertainment for the young and young at heart. Please NO SHOES!
Meet Your Hosts
"Our campground is open year round! Deluxe Cabins make for cozy camping in the winter."From a young age, traveling appealed to Walbert Ng. It was full of adventure and minor mishaps that created lasting memories for parents, my siblings and myself, he said. General manager of Louisville South KOA, Walbert started his hospitality career at Disney World. After working in various hotels in New York City and Georgia, Walbert also did a short stint in Financial Services, but the hospitality field just kept calling me back.
Thats when I found RV full-time, said Walbert. The fast-paced city life was getting old and nature was more and more appealing. Walbert began work-kamping with Kampgrounds of America, and the rest is history!
Customers at any place of business are the bread and butter of the whole operation, said Walbert, however I dont see my campers as dollar signs. They decided to come here away from the hectic proximity of hotels. So we will provide them with a haven of peace and tranquility. We will treat them like a family member who came a long way to visit. And hopefully create some lasting memories they can take back and tell their friends.
When asked which part of the campground business makes him most proud of, Walbert answered, Watching my campers having a ton of fun at my campground. Whether its an event our staff arranged or a family campfire with smores, its all about the special experience.
When not on the campground, Walbert enjoys playing tennis, snowmobiling (when in snow country), and is a fan of sci-fi.
