This morning, the students here in Lena walked into their schools for the first day of the 2022-23 school year. Although the calendar tells us the first day of fall is September 22, it's hard not to see this week as the end of the summer season for us at the campground. Sure our pool will be open for a few more weeks, and lots of weekend fun will still be planned...but we won't have weekdays filled with the sounds of kids again until next summer. We are so thankful for all of you who chose to make the Lena KOA Holiday part of your 2022 summer vacation.
To all of the parents sending their kids out the door for their first days, we hope they have the very best school year full of awesome learning opportunities, exceptional guidance, great accomplishments and proud moments. To the teachers, we hope you have a fun, supportive environment so that you can pour your very best into those kids every day.
