Lava Hot Springs has several parks throughout the town some first come first serve for use.  Buddy Campbell City Park is on the west end of town which includes playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamond, volleyball poles, pavilions and restrooms, to reserve this park contact City Hall at 208-776-5820. There are 4 other parks available to rent for your family reunion or party owned by the State of Idaho Foundation.  For more information contact Lava Hot Springs Foundation at 208-776-5221.

Idaho Parks & Recreation has online Bike and ATV Trail Maps for our area. There are many unmapped trails in the area. To ride on paved roads in Lava Hot Springs and surrounding area, all ATV's and dirt bikes must have insurance, registration, and license with off road sticker on the vehicle. They must also have a rear view mirror, horn, tail light, headlight, brake light, turn signals and riders under 18 years old must wear a helmet. You cannot ride on any STATE or FEDERAL maintained roadway. County roads o.k. unless restricted by individual county, city, etc.
