People are real friendly and accommodating. Too many bugs.

We had a great spot but the internet was not great. We had difficulty booking our next KOA site because of that. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was very nice!

The owner is the rudest man I've ever met. He was not accommodating at all and was extremely hostile. They charged $90 for two nights in a tent spot for three adults. Much too expensive to stay in their mediocre camp ground.

The tent sites with electric were located along a local county roadTrucks sounded like they were in the tent with usMosquitoes were the worst I had seen in a long time but no warningA truck came by on the county rd spraying for mosquitoes and the resulting fog drifted instantly making us ill.Wifi was basically nonexistentThe hosts were very very niceThe bathrooms were clean and very nice.

location: in front of a power plant that makes noise and an asphalt production that makes a terrible smell. Internet doesn't work.

Very clean, nice people.

In the far men's shower,I stood in the previous guy's water while I took my shower, because the water drains very slowly. Gross ! The main building has no sign visible from the road, and the one big one that is free standing is not lit, making it very hard to see at night. I wasted 1 hour. and 30 miles driving back and forth to find the place.

Tenting in your 70's is always rough on the back and joints, but the kind, friendly and helpful hosts made it a pleasant stay. You have a noisy highway there, but you have great bath house. Really liked the availability of hot water. I broadened my horizons there learning that even GB fans can be real down home folks! See you next time.

I use KOA as a clean, quiet, safe place to tent on my way to national parks in the west. I use the hot shower and clean bathrooms, and the nice tent sites. I do not use the amenities, such as pool. Hosts are nice and helpful.

There was only one women's bathroom with 3 toilets - 1 toilet was "out of order," 1 toilet was plugged (without a plunger in sight), which left 1 toilet for all the women in the whole campground. Poor planning!

Not only is it out in the country, with a marvelous view of the starry sky and bunnies, it is close enough to Hardin to go to restaurants. The road it is on has noisy traffic, but once that settles down all you hear is the sussuration of the wind. They have convenient laundry and store.

Owners great people! But between Mosquitos & noise from coal plant & railroad I got no sleep! I will not return & could not recommend this camp ground to anyone. The next camper over had the same experience!

Great site and friendly staff. My only suggestion would be to improve the wifi speed. I would highly recommend this KOA site.
Jul 25, 2014
Staff very friendly and courteous, but mosquitos were very bad and the tent sites were only about 50 feet from a 70 mph highway. So, I wouldn't recommend for tenting, but I would recommend for RVers who have insect repellant with them.

We enjoyed our stay. There were a multitude of places to visit within easy reach; Pompey's Pillar, Rosebud Battlefield, Little Bighorn Battlefield, Reno-Benteen Battlefield, Yellowtail Dam and Bighorn Canyon State Park. The park had enough activities to keep the boys occupied to include the black bunny pack. In fact they boys recommended a name change, Hardin Black Bunny KOA. We had a great visit.

Realizing that campground management has no control over the weather I had a wonderful stay at the Hardin KOA. Dave and Gina were friendly and outgoing and very helpful and accommodating. Showers were clean. Security was excellent. I plan to stay there next year, same time and would recommend this campground.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, only wish I could have smuggled a wascally wabbit across the border!!
Aug 18, 2013
Bathroom overflowed the evening we were there. they closed the only bathroom through the night and it was still closed in the morning. no alternatives or suggestions. very difficult to deal with when you are in a tent.
Aug 16, 2013
Everyone was very friendly and all aspects of the kampground met or exceeded my expectations!
Aug 15, 2013
This KOA is very flat so when it rains it gets incredibly muddy and the tent spaces are pretty wet. My reservation was lost and we had to just pick a site. The owners were very friendly the next day and they were a lot of fun. This was my first experience with any KOA and since I know that the weather can't be controlled it was a good experience.

Gina and Dave are wonderful hosts and very helpful with ideals of what to do and amenities in the area. Go Packers!

Loved the lawn for tents. Good playground too. My son loved the tractor!

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My kids loved the pool and I loved the hot tub. The campsite was grassy and well shaded.

Tent sites to close to road and hear all the traffic all night long.. Should move tent sites to rear of campground to clock out noise.

Great camp sites and great people running this KOA
