WE just stopped for the night while passing through, but we noticed what looked like a lot of fun activities for kids. Bathrooms were very clean and spacious.

Everything was great and the way the staff handled our after-hours arrival was smooth and simple. The only thing I would change was the fountain in the pond ran all night. It was pretty loud where we were sleeping in our tents. Maybe turning it off at 10pm would be nice?

My tent site (78) is advertised as a grass site. The whole site had new sand all over it and not much grass. Also, we didn’t bring our bikes because the website said bike rentals available. I assumed that meant bicycles and not the little car things for kids 12 and under. Other than that, everything was quite enjoyable. The staff was friendly, very clean bathrooms, and good fishing. Thanks!

Very nice tent camping. Nice little store with friendly staff. Clean showers. Enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch of the registration building

Tent sites needs improvement and are to close to the water - alots of bugs. Check out time is to early.

I booked a grass pitch, but was given a sand pit filled with dirt all around. Upon inspection of other sites, none truly had any grass and were full of sharp rocks. Hard to sleep in a tent when it's on top of sharp rocks. The sand pitches where also very small and couldn't accommodate my tent. Site said the pool was heated, but it certainly was not heated. The water was freezing and uncomfortable.

This is the 34th time I've been there I never had any problems until Labor Day weekend. I got there on time and I told the lady at the front desk that my girlfriend would probably be a little bit later so she only made one parking pass for me about three or four hours later my girlfriend showed up and this lady Stephanie not only came over and threatened charge me again for the second vehicle

Overcharged my family of 4. Made us rent two spots for our two small tents and one car.

Love the location, and the staff was very polite and helpful. We took one of the camping sites near the pond enjoyed some fishing.

Camp ground was clean and guests were friendly. But Stephanie the manager was a nightmare. She was hovering waiting for anyone to do even the slightest thing wrong to go yell at them. Someone pulled in with a golf cart and she told them they couldn’t have it there even though nothing states you can’t but in the pamphlet they hand out says you can. Low rating just because of her.

Tip for future Campers:" Please view the website and your site map when you stay at any KOA. Golf Carts are not permitted without a handicap tag at this franchise. Camping 101 guidelines and respect for other campers are key when at any campground. Happy Camping!

Aside from the rain, it was great. The store did not have amenities like other koa's we have stayed at. Such as food choices. And the store closed early.

Tip for future campers: There are Journey, Holiday and Resort KOA campgrounds. Each offer different amenities. Visit each campground website for more info and store hours, they change with seasons. Happy Camping!

I took my 5 year old here for two nights, he had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful and all the amenities/activities were conveniently located near the tent site we stayed at. Bathrooms were clean and overall site well maintained. Only suggestions would be more chairs available around the pool.

The place was clean. The spot we had for tent camping was nothing but rocks. They people partying past 10 and making alot of noise. Then when I went to bathroom at 230 in the morning there was campers hanging out in the bath house. The staff was great.

This was my first KOA campsite and we loved it so much we are now looking into purchasing an RV!!! We tent camp and that was great but who doesn't want to travel the US with an RV and great KOA locations. Highly recommend!!!

The staff members are very friendly and the bathrooms/restrooms are very clean. The pool could use some cleaning, but the kids still love it. The general store has everything you need and the prices are very reasonable. Restaurants are nearby and some can deliver too, if you run out of food or simply don’t want to cook.

We had a lovely stay at the Fredericksburg KOA! We have stayed at many, many KOA’s in the past, and have had mixed experiences. We loved all of the amenities at this campground— spacious tent sites, clean bath house, large and well-stocked camp store, pool, cool playground, laundry facilities and more. This campground had such a good vibe and we had a good night’s sleep in our tent!

Good small campground.. staff was helpful getting backed into our spot. There's only one bathhouse which was closed from 11-1 for cleaning. The pool was under renovation when we were there
