Cabin #32 very clean. The atv trails were great and there are sooo many. The campground was quiet after dark which was nice. All the people were respectful of each other and friendly. The pool was great. Front desk and security guard were very nice. We do wish the office stayed open past 4pm. We booked our next trip when we checked out...lol

Went for birthday wkend. No pool available for Bday due to chemical dump for cleaning. No 2-person ATVs available and no accomodation made. Some of the washers and dryers don't work & one set has no option for coin return to get your money back (heavy rain, soaked all ).There is also no chg mach. Grass was shin-high and itchy (tent camping). Most trails were blocked by fallen trees. Some birthday!

It was very nice 3 nights went fishing and riding atvs in the ocala forest the camp ground was quiet and clean

Pool wasn’t very clean. Would be nice to have more products in store, great staff very courteous. Over all an ok stay very relaxing

We have stayed at many different KOAs over the years. This is the first one that doesn’t assign camp sites . We were told to just park our motor home where we want. This caused us some problems because another party moved in very close to us invading most of our privacy.Some roads were in very bad shape. We didn’t know about the 4-wheelers meeting to go trail riding. A lot of noises. Lots for

We have been coming to Fort Mccoy KOA for about 3 years now. The location is perfect for many outdoor activities. The new owners have done a nice job at renovating some of the things there. However, the pool area and bath house need some serious attention. We will be back again but hope those areas get the attention theh need before hand.

Bathrooms broken down and trashed at pool area. Ants have taken over the entire park, seriously everywhere. “Nature trail” to the lake was impassable. Zero access to the lake by foot. Hobo trash fires burning abundantly near our spot with trash in our fire pit ready to be lit. After that I gave up and stayed in our camper the whole time. Didn’t even disconnect from the truck.

I loved the campground! The cabin we stayed at was very cute. Unfortunately we stayed in a pet friendly, with our pet, and it was full of fleas. I think they need to rip the carpet out and replace the furniture with something that works better. I would definitely go back, but be better prepared for fighting fleas. I understand it is not the campgrounds fault, but it really bothered my dog.

Had a problem with the RV but the campground made it right and moved us over to a cabin for the rest of our stay. The natural trails could have been more clear. Had a great time and a great stay will come back and stay again.

We've gone here for many years. Our last visit ruined our for our family and I don't think we'll be back. Half of the park is now "deeded lots" (which of course, are the best, shaded lots) , and the owners act like hall monitors. Tattling to security about every single thing. Staring at our kids like we're in an HOA subdivision. Prices have almost doubled too. Won't be back.

A little dusty. Maintenance guys were helpful. New shower heads, smaller low flow would make showering an improvement.

We loved our stay at the KOA. Peaceful and relaxing. The other campers and staff were friendly. The pool is especially nice! We love the views of the lake and the nature trails. The only negative was that maintenance could have been better.....there was a little trash around but not bad. Bathrooms weren't maintained as often as we would have liked but it was a holiday weekend.

Please just put up a sign that says to park at any spot you want. That information was no where and we drove around for a long time and finally flagged down a security guard who told us.

Had a really nice time really enjoyed the space . The only downside was when we asked the front office for a picnic table and fire ring he said it would be at our campsite in 30min to an hour a little over 2 hours went by and we still didn’t have the either I went back up front and they said they were already out for the day. It would have been fine but I asked at check around 930 am

To many homeless people living there. Park doesn't care about what anyone does, especially the black people who play gangster rap music in pool area while twerking in front of 8-12 year olds.

The whole choose your own spot was a disaster, people taking up more than one spot, no water pressure, no wifi, restrooms not clean, wont be back, Booked two nights left after fisrt night, Extremely unhappy with entire experance.

We love visiting this campground. Was a little disappointed this time with the cabin switching around. We had reservations from months ago and our cabin was given to someone else for 2 nights while the air was messed up in the RV that my mom was staying in and she is 90 years old trying to get her in and out of the RV was a task. Never was called to be asked to be switched.

I've read nothing good. Our stay was fantastic. This place is geared to off road enthusiasts. Not for those that can't stand dirt and off road activities. Staff was great. Some issues with stable electricity, both 30 and 50 amp. Highly recommend this place.

Only bad thing is no internet, we own businesses and still need to communicate with our customers. We love to go there on holidays but wifi Internet would make this place top-notch for what it is. although we can only go on holidays when our businesses are partially or fully closed due to not being able to communicate

Definitely overpriced for the accommodations. No structure to RV/Tent sites, people parked everywhere, tents in full hook up areas, utility trailers parked in full hook up areas next to spaces where they have their RV site, no fire rings to be able to do fire pits. The nature trails are over grown and blocked by debris. Not what I expect from the KOA name. Pool area was nice & clean

Great place! Staff is super friendly & accommodating. Even on a busy weekend it was quiet. The band & DJ by the pool was an added plus for the holiday weekend. Looking forward to our next stay!

Had to search for toilet paper with all's y'all's being empty numerous times. Drunk band with vulgar words for a hour. Took the kids to camp so they were not seeing two grown men fight and curse the whole time.

Not kept up and not clean. Our septic was full and I told them on the first day and no one ever came to even look. They have full-time people living in campers with dogs and children crammed into small campers and their areas are not kept up at all. One of the full-time ladies works all day and leaves two dogs tied up barking all day. The trails were great it was nice to be able to go on our ATV

The park is beautiful! So much to do! We brought our 4 wheelers & side by side so didn't get to see or do all the things... but will keep them at home next time just to enjoy the campground. The staff was OVER THE TOP helpful & knowledgeable. We had an issue with the toilet in our RV & the staff did everything they could to help. Security guard & office staff were so very sweet & helpful.

This was not our first stay. We generally feel this is a very nice place to go. There are just a few things needing attention. The pool was not well maintained during our stay. Yes it was a holiday weekend and in use most of the time, but as the weekend progressed the pool was very cloudy and the area unkempt. The bathroom in the recreation hall was not maintained as well.

Beautiful views. Very unorganized. Was not assigned a campsite and we were told to pick one. After parking and unloading we tried to plug in the electric which was not working. We then loved to another spot only to find out that the water did not work. Finally we found a spot that had working water and electric. Would be much better with assigned spots knowing the water and electric work.

For the cost I expected the internet to work and the campground to be more level. The office ladies were not helpful or caring at all about my complaint with the internet. Otherwise was not a bad stay.

I acknowledge the park is going through some changes for the better. We chose this park due to its location to the forest trails, which was great! If we do return in the future we would stay only if we could rent a park model cabin. The RV was not great, AC issues, gross shower curtain, gross shower drain, plastic on mattress, WiFi was nonexistent and kitchen lacking basic supplies.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
