Meet Your Hosts

Close
Justin and Janyel Pitman have been your campground hosts at the Flagstaff KOA since 2006. Janyel is a Flagstaff native and her family is from Jerome a Northern Arizona ghost town and artist community and Justin is from Santa Cruz, CA. They have hiked, and camped all over Northern Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. "We have taken our son Ethan all over the Southwest and it's wonderful National Parks and landmarks off the beaten path. For us, the Flagstaff KOA offer's the charm and outdoor experience we look for when we are camping. We love nature, and tree's and more importantly making sure other people get out an explore nature as well."

We have widened the entrance to our entrance by 4 feet! We,love our tree's, it is part of what makes, this campground so beautiful. However, we realize as rig's get bigger and the industry changes,we need to do out best to accommodate, them. We can not cut down, our interior tree's as they are protected but,we have taken down, some of the tree's have seen the end,of their life to widen the road and makes the entrance/exit easier for everyone.,

Happy Kamping!

New Teepee beds are in! The feedback on,our teepee's has been overwhelming and people love the unique, camping experience. However, they did not like the, beds and cited them uncomfortable to sleep on. May of 2012 we had brand new, custom beds made. The thick mattress and waterproof, pads have made for a cleaner, more comfortable nights sleep. We hope this will make an already memorable experience even better.

Happy Kamping!
