General Campground Information

Check-In & Check-Out Times

  • Check-out times for all sites is 11:00 AM
  • Cabin Check-in 3:00 PM
  • RV sites check-in 2:00 PM
  • Late check-outs must be requested and paid for in the office before 10:00 AM and are granted on a space available basis.

RV Requirements

  • Units may not be more than 10 years old or must be in excellent condition and approved by management.
  • Holding tanks required on all units.
  • Elbow on the end of your sewer hose to connect to the sewer drain is required.
  • Water pressure regulator is required on the spigot (on/off valve) for water hook up.

Speed Limit

The speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH at all times.

Pet Information

We love pets at KOA
  • Our KOA Dog, Winston, will be allowed in and around the office.  Please notify staff if you have a fear of dogs so he can be removed immediately.
  • No aggressive pet behavior will be tolerated.  Pets will be removed from property immediately.  No Refunds.
  • Only 2 animals at your site without specific authorization from the campground Manager/Owner.
  • All pets must be leashed at 6' or less and must be supervised at all times.
  • No outdoor pens, kennels, or tied up barking dogs permitted.
  • No long term tied up pets (no more than 10-20 minutes)
  • Please help keep our park clean!  All pet waste and litter must be immediately picked up from camp site, dog park, or anywhere throughout the park.  Waste must be properly disposed of or a $50 fine per offense will be imposed.
  • Two KampK9 parks (next to office and at the northeast corner of the park) are for pets to play off leash.
  • Dogs are not allowed in facilities (Shower house, buildings or playground area).

Restrooms, Showers, and Laundry Facilities

  • Restrooms and laundry facilities are open 24/7.
  • Our housekeeping staff works to keep our restroom clean, clean, clean.  Help them out by letting the office staff know if the restrooms, showers, or laundry facilities need attention.
  • Dish washing is prohibited in the restrooms for sanitary reasons.
  • Laundry machines use coins only.  A change machine is available for your convenience.

Site Etiquette

  • Your site must be maintained, remain free of litter or clutter, cigarette butts, bottle caps, etc.
  • Miscellaneous debris and pet messes must be picked up by you and disposed of in your trash bag or taken to the dumpster.
  • No outside storage, appliances, junk, clotheslines, yard decorations, or the like without written approval from manager/owner.
  • The campground grounds keeper will mow the grass on a regular basis
  • No tents are allowed on RV sites unless approved through the office.  Additional fee of $15.00 per tent and fee will apply for 3 or more people per tent.

Trash

  • Trash must be in a plastic bag, tied, and thrown in the dumpsters.
  • Dumpsters located at northeast and northwest corners of the park.
  • Large objects, cardboard boxes, and excessive amounts of garbage are not acceptable in the garbage cans/dumpsters.  See office for details.

Quiet Hours

  • The campground observes quiet hours between 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Parking

  • All vehicles must be registered with the office.
  • Only road worthy vehicles in good condition with current inspections done and current registrations will be permitted on any roadways, camp site, or any other areas on the Falcon/Colorado Springs NE KOA property.
  • Site parking is restricted to registered automobiles and pickups.
  • Vehicles must be parked on gravel pads or designated overflow parking.  Please no parking on the street, roadways, dirt, or grass.
  • Any parking violations will be towed at the owner's expense.
  • Do not use nearby sites for parking.

Visitor & Guest Policy

  • Guest parking or extra vehicles may utilize the overflow parking by the trash dumpsters on the northwest and northeast corners located at the back of the property.
  • No RV or vehicle washing, maintenance, or repair is permitted on the campground unless professionally done, or approved through the campground manager/owner.
  • ALL VISITORS (OFF SITE FAMILY VISITORS OR VENDORS) MUST SIGN IN AT OFFICE OR CALL THE OFFICE PHONE AFTER HOURS.
