Meet Your Hosts

The Hull Family

Our Mission is to provide admirable customer service combined with offering a safe, relaxing and entertaining camping experience for all campers and visitors.

Jimmy and Janet bring decades of hard work, dedication, and hands-on experience to the campground they now proudly call their retirement venture. Before stepping into campground ownership, Jimmy spent more than 30 years as a maintenance and production supervisor in a machine shop, while Janet built her career as a controller and human resource manager. Alongside their full-time jobs, they also acquired and managed 11 rental homes—handling every repair, upgrade, and detail themselves. When the time came to choose a retirement business, they explored many possibilities but always found themselves returning to the same idea: a family-run campground.

The spark came from their daughter, Toni, who had dreamed for years of managing a campground. Camping was a cherished part of family life as their girls grew up, and Jimmy and Janet loved the atmosphere, the community, and the variety of work that a campground offers. They envisioned a place where all three of their daughters could be part of the adventure, each contributing their own strengths. Staying busy and juggling a wide range of tasks has always been their style.

Jimmy and Janet both grew up in the Emmett area, where they also raised their three daughters—Toni, Alex, and Sam. Toni earned her bachelor's degree in business management from Walsh College and now manages the campground, bringing with her 12 seasons of experience at the Emmett KOA. She's also a photographer and manages a rental home of her own, with her three kids often helping out with the beloved barrel train. Alex is a licensed massage therapist, trained at Irene's Myomassology Institute, and currently works in local chiropractic offices. She also brings 10 seasons of KOA experience to the team. Sam, an MSU alumna with a passion for animal behavior, serves as the assistant manager and adds her own expertise to the daily operations of the campground.

Keeping campers happy, comfortable, and entertained is at the heart of everything this family does. They hope you and your loved ones enjoy your stay, make lasting memories, and perhaps even begin new traditions—just as they did while raising their girls.

Oh My, There's Nothing Here!

That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
