Meet Your Hosts
CloseBefore purchasing their KOA in Colorado, Jeff worked in the aerospace industry and Tracy was an elementary school teacher. In October of 2004, the Hastings left behind their old lifestyle and pursued a new life in the camping industry. They were both avid campers and loved everything about the business.
In the summer time, campers interact with "work campers." These campers are campground employees, and they help with anything campers need. "It is a comfortable place away from home," adds Tracy.
The park is open year-around, a unique aspect of campgrounds in this region. Tracy says the campground is geared towards people that are looking for a convenient place to stop for the night. "It is quick and easy-right off the interstate where one can relax and then get back on the road," she said.
The Hastings are new owners with a new perspective. They are starting fresh and giving the Denver KOA a new name.
"We are young and energetic," remarked Tracy, "Our campground is a nice place and very convenient, courteous, and comfortable."

We do activities every weekend from Come Camp and Care With Us Weekend to Labor Day. 2012 Calendar of Events Activities we do every weekend 5/11/12 - 9/3/12 Stuff-a-Kritter: make your own stuffed animal! Hayrides: take a ride around the property and get wet on the Super Soaker Hayride, and movies with popcorn. We also have a pizza and ice cream parlor open all week! Come join us at the Campfire Cinema every Friday and Saturday night during the summer months. Just bring your camp chairs or a blanket! We serve FREE popcorn too.
Hayrides- Regular and Super Soaker
This is a favorite at the campground. The kids especially like to get soaked on the Super Soaker Hayride.

Free Summer Storage
The easiest way to camp this summer is to leave your rig in our storage facility June, July and August for free. Just think, you don't have to haul it back and forth from home to the campground. As long as you stay 8 nights starting May 28, 2012 through September 3, 2012 you won't have to pay for three months. That's a $90.00 savings! Pay for June, July and August, then when you reach your eight nights let us know and we will refund your $90.00.
