Meet Your Hosts

Open May 18 - October 8

The Cornwall/Charlottetown KOA is a family camping and RV Park beautifully located 9 km southwest of Charlottetown, along the scenic West River and situated in the centre of Prince Edward Island.

Our campground is an ideal headquarters to explore the countryside, the historic towns and villages. We are only a half-hour drive away from the National Park and the Anne of Green Gables Museum.

You can spend the day at our KOA and find plenty to do! Go clam digging at our secluded beach, take a dip in our swimming pool or just relax and enjoy the view!

We started in the campground business in 2000 when we purchased what is now Halifax West KOA. Having sold Halifax West KOA in 2010, we opted to jump right back into the business, only this time in Donna's home province of P.E.I. We immediately fell in love with the Holiday Haven property and we thought KOA campers would love it too.

Founders Hall - All Season In 1864, delegates to the Charlottetown Conference arrived at the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront on board the HMCS Queen Victoria. Today, it is the site of Founders’ Hall – Canada’s Birthplace Pavilion, a heritage bilingual attraction telling the story of Canada from its inception in 1864 up until modern day.

Founders’ Hall is the perfect spot to start your Charlottetown visit. Get familiar with the City and the important role it plays in Confederation. Following your visit through Canada’s Birthplace Pavilion, consider joining a historic walking tour with a costumed Father and/or Lady of Confederation.
