The Chocorua Camping Village-KOA campground is a great place to use as a home base while exploring the White Mountains and Lakes Regions of New Hampshire.

The Chocorua Camping Village-KOA campground is a great place to use as a home base to explore the White Mountains and Lakes Regions of New Hampshire. Nearby attractions include Mt. Chocorua, the Kancamagus highway, shopping, golf, horseback riding, scenic train and boat rides, water parks, theme parks, summer theater and museums.

Our KOA campground features waterfront, shady RV sites with 3-way hookups, including 20, 30 or 50 amp electric with water and sewer connections. We have pull-through sites as well as back-in sites. For those who like to "rough it," we also offer tent sites with no hook ups. Looking for some luxury camping? Our Super Sites are larger, landscaped RV sites with decks, patio furniture, BBQ grills, WiFi and cable.

Canine campers will enjoy our NEW Dog Park! It has a fenced-in area with lots of running room. We also offer "doggie daycare" onsite for a reasonable fee.

The Chocorua KOA has lots to do right on the campground! We have WiFi, cable, a pool, a beach, boat rentals, and 5 miles of Nature Trails to explore by foot or bike. We also offer cabin rentals and a fully-stocked camp store. There are planned activities, supervised by our recreation directors. These activities include movies, crafts, orienteering, group games, Tie-Dye, hiking and more. Saturday evenings we offer an ice cream social. Be sure to check out our pancake breakfast on Sunday mornings.

Castle in the Clouds

Mt. Washington Cruise Ship

The Flume

The Flume is part of Franconia Notch State Park located beside Rt. 3 in Franconia Notch, 5 miles north of Lincoln. A fee is charged. Your tour through this 800 foot chasm takes you on boardwalks through covered bridges, past waterfalls and views. Don't miss the free 15 minute movie at the Flume Visitor Center.

Wright Museum

Travel back in time to 1935 - 1945 America at the Wright Museum. This museum showcases the enterprising spirit of America as everyone rallied to the call to arms, during World War II. This historically accurate collection of memorabilia, vehicles, films and artifacts demonstrates the efforts that the American people brought to this time of crisis.

Clark's Trading Post

At Clark's Trading Post, enjoy a bear show, train ride, Merlin's Mystical Mansion, Tuttle's Rustic House, Americana Museum, 1884 Fire Station, Avery's Garage, Old Mill Pond Water Blaster Boats, the old man climbing tower, and so much more.

Strawbery Banke

June 2, 2012: Free Fishing Day in New Hampshire

N.H. Free Fishing Day will be here on Saturday, June 2, 2012, so make plans to get out and cast a line with family and friends. State residents and nonresidents alike can fish any inland water - or saltwater - in New Hampshire that day without a fishing license. Note that season dates, bag limits and all other fishing regulations must be followed on Free "Free Fishing Day is a great chance to take a buddy fishing, or to get out yourself for a relaxing day in the outdoors – and maybe a fish fry later that night!" says Karina Walsh, New Hampshire Fish and Game's Let's Go Fishing program coordinator.

An Egg-citing Weekend. We're having an Easter egg hunt! BYOB... Bring Your Own 'Basket' . The one that finds the golden egg wins a prize! We'll be doing mosaic egg shell art, the egg drop project and more. Let's decorate the hay wagon and go for a ride with Moe Z. Moose! Let's dress the dogs up like Easter bunnies and walk with them for the Easter Egg Hunt.

The white signifies purity and innocence, the red signifies valor and bravery and the blue signifies vigilance, perseverance and justice. Follow Moe Z. Moose in our annual Fourth of July Parade . Carnival games, Decorate your bike, yourself, your pet, or our wagon on this most American of holiday celebrations by marching in our parade. Join us for ice cream and hayrides. We will make craft for the parade and help us wave the flag in support of our troops.

Start your engines!! It's race car weekend! Make and decorate your own race car (cardboard one's of course) Just like the Flintstones, you'll get inside your car. Do a few laps around the track, and see who wins the prize! Wear your favorite racing shirt, and we'll have a tailgate party. Everyone bring some snacks! Maybe even watch the race.

July 13-15: Hawaiian Luau Weekend

Break out your hula skirts and Hawaiian shirts , We're having a Luau! Bring your favorite Hawaiian dish for our pot luck. Don't forget to dress up! Bring the dogs for "Look what I can do" tricks. The best trick wins a ribbon and a treat! Ice Cream Smorgasbord ($) and Moe Z. Moose hay ride @ 6:30pm Saturday night!

Make out your arrest warrants and have your friends and family arrested by our Sheriffs for $1.00. They can't be released from jail until their bail is paid. It's alot of fun!!!

The weekend has arrived and it’s Friday night. You rush home to pack the camper, hook up the camper and get on the road. You arrive at the campground, checkin, find your site, back the trailer in, level the trailer, get the kids settled, grill a burger and have a cool drink. Where has the weekend gone? It’s Sunday afternoon and you get to do it all over again in reverse. If you have considered a seasonal site as a possible option then this weekend is a good time to visit with us. We hold our annual seasonal meeting this weekend. It gives you a chance to meet some of our seasonals and hear about our end of the season 2011 seasonal deal. If you wish to partake in the annual seasonal Steak and Lobster Dinner please let the office know when making your reservations. There is a fee for the dinner. Maybe it’s time to think about relaxing a little more and traveling a little less.

Halloween is a time for kids and adults, who are young at heart, to don costumes and roam the campground to gather those precious treats and have some really spooky fun. Trick or treating, Halloween crafts, site decorating contest and a pet costume parade are all a part of this exciting weekend. Feeling brave? You might want to try a wander through the Haunted Dungeon in our game room. It's an arsenal of fiendish fun guaranteed to put a chill up your spine. There's only one way in and one way out.
If you're feeling really brave, check out our 3rd annual "Haunted Walk in the Woods". We will provide the scares and you bring the screams. You'll have a "spooktacular" time.
