The only issues I had were I called the day before to ask if cabins were available to check in before 4:00 pm if no one in the cabin and I was told that if I was there around 3:30 and the cabin was ready that sometimes they check you in. I had three service dogs withme. When I arrived there was two girls in the store I took one of my service dogs in with me and one girl Rebecca said to me

Very nice cabin on the river. Cabin furnished with all I needed except reading pen light over bed didn't work. Would suggest reading pen light next to couch. Cabin was clean, nicely laid out. Will stay there again.

It's in a great location. This was our 2nd time staying. The cabin that my parents stayed in was amazing. Just needed some more trees for shade throughout mainly where the rv sites are in the middle sections. Next time we are there we will definitely get near the river.

We really enjoyed our stay, the campground has a number of upgrades. I think the office/store open to late and close to early.

We rented a partial kitchen cabin but did not have any dishes and they were not provided after we requested them. Ants were present in the kitchen sink area. The shower drained slowly. There was no hot water to the bathroom sink. It was uncomfortable sitting outside on the porch due to a large number of carpenter bees. We did enjoy close access to Cherokee and the National Park.

It was a birthday gift for my daughter, so I wasn't there. Someone switched the cabin I had rented for her and nobody knows why. She did enjoy her stay.

Great stay here in the camping cabin in Cherokee. Very friendly and helpful staff. And a great location for day trips into the Great Smoky National park.

Ugh. I hate to leave something negative because I have started a tradition of coming here after my tax season… The bees were horrible, just too much. I saw the natural catchers but they were not working on our unit. I wish they would have put us in the middle at least where they were flocking around. There was over 50 at mid day,everyday. I go to relax and listen to the water, not for activiti

We had a great stay at the Cherokee KOA! The staff was great and very helpful! The cabin was clean and ready for us to use! Only problem was the cabin needed a little maintenance and curtains for more privacy. We’ll be back in September ��

A wonderful stay in the luxury cabin near the river. Enough room for the whole family (4 adults). The presence of a Weberbarbecue was a nice surprise. Only one disappointment: the kitchen crockery is minimal, even when you want to cook a simple one-pot meal.

The only reason I rated a 4 and not a 5 is because of the late 4pm check in. That does NOT allow us to take full advantage of the amenities. Also the KOA store closes at 5pm. Otherwise the employees were very hospitable and the restrooms were clean.

We loved it. Our cabin was 251 and the view was absolutely amazing. The kids loved fishing, swimming, and playing in the water with their waders. I look forward to coming back and staying many more times.

We had an amazing time! We met family down there and decided to try out the cabins. We loved every second! The cabin was, truthfully, way nicer than we expected it to be and our dog absolutely loved the trip as well! We will most definitely be back!

Me and my wife have been coming to this KOA for 3 years now. We absolutely love it here. The staff is always friendly. The cabins and campground is always clean. It is very quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend anybody to try this place out. We will continue coming to this campground.

I came there to ride the trails at Fire Mountain and was very impressed with how nice and neat the campground was. The outdoor furniture was much nicer than expected as well. The numerous caged in areas looked like they would be great for pets. We will be back!

We were in cabin 510. Ants were everywhere. Kitchen counter, table, bathroom counter, couch and bed. Bed was uncomfortable and inconvenient as one side was next to wall. We bought spray for ants which seemed to help. Outside temp got cool Saturday night. Would have liked to have a little heat from gas fireplace which didn’t work. We normally stay here in our own RV but brought relatives with us

Love the indoor pool & hot tub! Even if it’s raining it gives the kids something to do. They have great activities for kids & adults. Kim Perkins made our stay extra special! We found a leak in the camper & she helped us upgrade to a cabin so we didn’t have to lose a night due to camper issues!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Only problem was unavailable hot tub on part of visit and store closes too early. Fishing licenses, ice cream and ice should be available at least to 7:00 pm. Overall, great, as usual.

Was great except for the bed bugs we got! We stayed in cabin 30 and came home with bug bed bites all over us!!! Please fix this!!

When we checked into our cabin it was being worked on no heater in living area they brought us a space heater we had ants everywhere in bedroom crawling in the bed on head board side tables and kitchen sink and counters were covered we brought ant baits but didn't work we loved our stay other than that we love to come back

We had an amazing time. It was such a wonderful place. We are already talking with our children to plan a big family trip to your camp ground. So much to do around there. I'm so glad we chose Cherokee,NC. for my birthday get away.

What a beautiful camp ground. The cabins are pretty well stocked with everything you need. A few items did not work but did not take away from the experience.

We love this place. We stay in a studio cabin. Perfect for my husband and me and our dog. We can sit on our porch and listen to the creek, it's almost perfect. The problem we had was the internet. There was no cell towers to connect with so 5g did not work in our area. Internet was so sporadic that half the time we could not make calls or we were cut off. Other then the internet, we can not wait to use there new pool area.
