The park managers were very courteous and friendly. The RV spaces had plenty of room. Dog park was nice. Pool was closed. Laundry facility was clean. Park could have been mowed more often. It is a very quiet place.

Nice big lots; easy access, in/out and a quiet area. Camp was too far away from the caverns. I thought I was close because I was looking at the city, didn't realized the caverns were 20 minutes beyond that. But, I also expected more from a KOA; it said you have cable, but half the channels came in snowy and with lots of static. The clear channels might come only come on momentarily.

Reluctantly need to start with the negatives: (1) LOW WATER PRESSURE; and (2) WIFI (ALTHOUUGH AVAILABLE) had NO access AWEFUL. Can't blame them for the weather and will say the laundry and shower were average.

Perfect spot, friendly staff. Maybe keep up with the dog waste receptacles a little better and water is very very hard

We used this campsite as a base to visit the Carlsbad Caverns. It is located a little bit further out of town than we expected, but it was clean safe and the staff friendly and helpful

Three days to explore Carlsbad Cavern NP and Roswell. We homebased out of the Carlsbad KOA. Nice people and well-kept park.

We enjoyed our stay and liked the swing and chair set. Y’all need to mow or pull up the weeds in the pavers tho— Internet was the worst ever. We enjoyed our stay but just a few suggestions.

This KOA was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were level and spacious. Would stay here again.

If having tv and Wi-Fi is important to you, don’t stay here. I was in spot C13 less than 50 yards from the office. Now Wi-Fi unless you sat right at the office and given the number of campers doing as I did suggests it was systemic. Cable was out, their service tech blamed the cable company but that didn’t resolve the issue.

This is a very quiet park, because it is off the main road. That’s the only thing we liked about it. It wasn’t very clean, it’s in the middle of nowhere and everything extra (laundry, firewood) is expensive.

This property was very well kept and there are numerous activities available in the very large rec room, as well as outside. The downside was that my husband and I both need WiFi for remote work, and we could not get a good signal at all in our RV. We had to go to the rec room to do our work. The property was farther away from Carlsbad and the Caverns than we thought. Very friendly staff!

Dog park didn't have any poop bags, trash can in dog park was full our entire stay. We ran out of our own poop bags for travel days. The young lady at the office didnt know who was responsible for emptying the dog park trash. I took my showers about 30 minutes after the cleaning time and both times the showers were dirty. WiFi was basically nonexistent.

Level gravel campground. At one time it was attractive but it is a bit dated. It is a very long drive to town and over an hour to the NP. Friendly helpful employees and big with plenty of space.

As with most KOA's the park had some worthwhile amenities. Large game room, nice laundry room and a pool that was closed. You could purchase BBQ daily (if the park could afford their maintenance man to cook and not work). So yes I could recommend this campground, but like most all of KOA's parks the price as continued to go up and up with less and less gain.

A decent KOA but the owners have let it get run down over the years (I first stayed here over 15 years ago). The bathrooms could use a coat of paint and filling the paper towel holders and soap dispensers would be a nice touch. Good for a short stay over while traveling through.

Disappointing. The ladies restroom hadn’t been cleaned the entire time we were there. The same toothpaste gob was in the sink the whole time and one of the toilets was messy and had never been tended too. Also the trash cans everywhere were overflowing. It was disappointing considering we had just come from a nearby state park where the restrooms were immaculate. No doggies bags in dog park

Nice park with the exception that the landscape is terrible. Weeds everywhere. Thorny stickers all over, bad for pets. Pet trash was not empty for the 4 days we were there. If they cleaned up this park it would be a lot nicer.

This KOA is not what they would like you to believe. It is definitely not a KOA Holiday. It is a OK Journey at best. The Pool was closed and looks to have been for a long time. It is a green allege pond now. The restaurant was closed and from reading reviews that has been so for a while as well. Most of the items were in disrepair. One good thing, the laundry was clean

Good location. Very nice staff. Marcus (maintenance) helped us out when we arrived including troubleshooting our electric hitch which wasn't working. He went above and beyond. Nice facilities including the laundry center.

Wifi was almost non-existant. Issues getting cable tv connected. An appointment was made with a serviceman but no show. I cleaned out the shower Before I had one. First time ever that I have had issues like these at a KOA campground.

We stayed for 10 days. The campground served its purpose satisfactorily. However, the water is so hard, it left a white coating on anything that got wet. Plus the WiFi was almost nonexistent. Some of the sites could have used some attention like mowing. That said, the staff was very nice and helpful, clubhouse, laundry, bathrooms were very clean. Sites were gravel but level and spaced nicely.

Great campground! We came in a little after closing time and the employees were still there to help get us checked in. Very clean bathrooms! We stayed for only 2 nights and were on our way. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with this KOA. We'll maintained, large long level sites, all the hook ups worked great. Bathrooms were clean and they seemed to have many activities for the kids. We also liked how it was so close to all the attractions. By far one of the best KOA's we stayed at. We plan on giving them a great review and using tgem on our website www.EricKristyAdventures.com

Sites were spacious. Friendly staff. They need to spend some time weeding around the sites. we could not use the picnic table at our site because of the weeds growing up around it.

Good standard KOA. You've got pretty much a 360 degree horizon here because of the flat desert location, so it's nice that the sites are spacious and you can see sunrises and sunsets. We arrived late and left early, so have nothing to say about staff. I'm sure they're lovely. Grateful for the grassy, shaded off leash dog area.

Full-time rv'ers for 9 years. This KOA is about 45 minutes from the caverns. It's a very nice quiet park. Laundry room is outstanding. Only oddity was that their well water curdles your coffee creamer. Google says it's OK to drink, but we prefer not to chew our coffee! Our neighbors also experienced the same issues. We bought gallon jugs of water at the office and that solved the problem. Office was also aware of this issue. Wish they had told us upon arrival.
