What a great 2015 season! Despite the wet start in the spring, the summer and fall numbers made up for it. We are very thankful to all of our campers and will never forget that our success is due to our happy campers. Our focus will always be on customer service and their experiences. Even the two October Halloween weekends were well attended. We once again earned the KOA Founders Award.
Many of the improvements for 2015 were right on, especially the electric in our tent sites and patios at the cabins.
Plans for 2016 include ping pong, and lots of maintenance. Seasonal sites are almost full. Just two open sites left.
I am delighted to announce our staff for 2016 - Holly & Carl Koring, John & Barbara Burnett, and Brenda & Elliott Olsen are all returning. To complete the staff, our son and his family will be joining us as partners. We are very excited about this development. Come see us at the Syracuse RV, March 3 to 6. Hope you have a warm winter.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, Victor

For many years, Camper Mary A, Santee has made beautiful quilts for our Care Camps Raffle. This past year, the number of quilts made on her dining room table has reach 641. A special message is always found on the quilts and this one reads: "Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."
We at KOA salute Mary for her leadership, caring, and dedicated help with our Care Camps Fundraising weekends.
This summer brought yet another method of raising funds for the KOA Cancer Care Camps for Kids. Thanks to our seasonal camper, Lynn Canham, he collected 5 cent returnable cans and turned them into cash. The campground matched the amount of $220 that brought the effort to $440. Thanks, Lynn, for leading the way. We hope to double the collection in 2016.
