It was pleasant again. This was our second stay at the white river badlands koa and we were happy. I do wish the store stayed open a little longer though. Again. Very happy here

Overall the campground and cabin were great. A couple things that were a little disappointing, though, when we clicked on Amenities within our reservation email, we saw that the pool was open as of 4/28 and that all campers get 1 free complimentary pancake breakfast, and that the Kook House offers meals. We never saw the Kook House open at all and the pool was not open. Otherwise, it was great

I am so sorry and we have corrected the web site. The pool opens Memorial Day weekend and our Cook Shack opens the 19th of May.

We stayed in cabin 90, our son and dong we’re with us. We all had a great time and we’re very comfortable in the cute little cabin. The KOA hosts were from nearby our hometown, so it was like talking with a neighbor. The only thing I would change is if the pool could have been open, but I understand we were early in the Badlands KOA opening season. They had opened a few days before our arrival

This is the 4th time that I have stayed at this campground and had always thought that it was a nice campground. I've stayed twice in cabins and twice in my camper. I felt like this time the area and the grounds seemed very poorly maintained. I would have given it a 3 for average except that the pool color was almost green and my husband thought that it had a smell so therefore I have to

I am so sorry you found the campground lacking in maintenance attention back in July. We have since improved our maintenance schedule and found a correct balance with our pool. Thank you for your comments. I do hope you will give us another try.

Upon checking in the ladies in the office weee super friendly and gave us specific details and recommendations while we were visiting. Our first visit to the Badlands and would definitely choose to stay at KOA in Badlands again!

The campground is getting ready to do a lot of upgrades so I want to be flexible in my rating to allow for that. Our cabin had torn screens so open windows weren’t an option and the a/c only went down to 78 so it was a tad warm. I’m sure those will be improved over the coming off season! Cheryl was super nice & accommodating when I was forced home a day early. Camp is VERY close to Badlands lo

We loved Badlands KOA. It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. It was also just a short drive from Badlands National Park. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Not the norm when I have stayed at any other KOA. I think it is just old and needs to be replaced, but the rest of the stay was great!

Very noisy campground allowing late check-ins. Next to us they checked in at 11 pm and it took them 3 hours settle in which kept us up. The facility is old and needs updating. Half way through a shower the hot water just stopped and we had to finish with just cold water a few times. We used the air conditioning and after 2 hours of use the A/C unit was so loud we had to turn it off. Good location.

Saved me a wet, rainy night. Nice campground, deluxe cabins were really nice. Breakfast was good (and inexpensive!). Overall, I was quite happy. I did wish however, on a 100° day, that the pool had been open, but the shower still felt great.

We have stayed at the KOA for over 20 years over the Labor Day weekend. This year there were new managers. They were the most friendly and welcoming managers that we have ever encountered and that is saying a lot because everybody has always been friendly. They went above and beyond to make Our stay enjoyable. You will not find a better campground anywhere than the Badlands KOA!

We have stayed at this KOA many times and have never been disappointed; that said, it was sad to learn there were no “Indian Tacos”. I’m not sure if that is a permanent thing or just a supply chain issue.

Stayed in a tipi for a night. It was an experience that everyone should try. You could hear the coyotes talking at night and in the morning which was also amazing.

The stay was nice. The only thing I would say is the pool needed to be better balanced for chlorine. It was very cloudy.

I was pleased to find this campground. The tent site selected was just a short walk to the bathrooms and showers. The trash bin was close and there was access to fill up drinking water throughout the campground. It has a dog wash/cool off station right next to a well maintained dog park.

This might be my favorite koa. Thor and his wife are awesome. Everything here is about customer service, and they go above and beyond. We will be back.

We had a travel trailer, sites were nice, level and easy to get into. Quiet and peaceful setting although close enough to the National park entrance and the Loop road with hikes and overlooks. Heard cow moos in the distance at night. Host were friendly, and knowledgeable. clean, well kept and actually green. Located next to the white river. Would defiinetly stay here again if visiting the Badlands.
