People in and out all night long. Setting up camp at 2am. Tweaker's next to us again rolled in late set up camp fought all night over who had stolen their last 18 dollars. Not relaxing at all.

Unexpectedly beautiful location! Grounds are well treed an landscaped beautifully. Well run, friendly staff! Just off I 5, convenient and no road noise. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone!
Apr 22, 2017
Very convenient for a night's stay visiting friends and family in Corvallis and Lebanon. Highway is noisy, so bring ear plugs!
Apr 20, 2017
the drainage is terrible, staying here in rainy Oregon spring was futile, we had a huge puddles right out side our motorhome door and our dingy was parked in the mud.
Apr 18, 2017
I had to check out a day early to get back to Everett for a job interview. The office was closed on Easter Sunday but I let them know Saturday I would be checking out a day early. Called them on Monday about my one day refund and was told the person that does that only works twice a month and the owner is out for two weeks. Other than that it's a great place to stay and I will stay there again.
Apr 14, 2017
Very friendly staff and acceptable sites.
Apr 12, 2017
Very nice lady in the office
Apr 10, 2017
Disappointed due to park not up to standard that we were used to with other koa we stayed at. Not too much room to manoeuvre, only 1 person on duty, although friendly. Never saw any koa signs anywhere except when you got to the road.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

No signs allowed from I-5 to our Oakville Rd. Lady Bird Johnson Beautifulcation Act. Sorry.

Wonderful

real camping area and a ton of beautiful mountains. super friendly staff and very clean. I would recommend this KOA to all campers
Apr 08, 2017
thy had a pitiful put put golf that thy wanted a $1 to play and WiFi was real bad
Apr 08, 2017
Nice looking kampground. We were only stayng one night and did not use any amenities. We do look forward to coming back and enjoyING the park longer.
Apr 08, 2017
We've stayed here before and had a great time. This time wasn't 'as' lovely. The gal that checked us in seemed rather clueless and pre-occupied (it wasn't busy). The grass was really lony and unmowed, though apparently they had lots of rain which was causing a problem for them. Second day, the office woman was lovely! All in all, we would stay again, though this wasn't the best experience.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Crop year average rainfall to this date is 35 inches...currently we are at 56. Soooo long grass because ground is too wet to continually mow. Have now gone through the entire park...once..we DO love our green grass...even when tooooo long.
Apr 07, 2017
Grass not cut. Electrical power low (105 v at site). Campground "rules" not applied to all tenants. Staff courteous but not very helpful. Not my best KOA experience.
Apr 07, 2017
The area was really wet from all the rain over the winter.. staff was great .. maybe try it in the summer time

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

And the rain continues now in April. 51 inches since Oct.1 . It continues to break records. Thank you for your stay

Stayed hear several times over the past few years and have always had a great time. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The park is close to Oregon State University so it has easy access to Corvallis (5 miles) and 5 miles to the freeway.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is pouring rain again and you just made my day! Thank you and Go Beavs!

This campground just makes me smile !!!! I will be back in August :)

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The playground really needs to be updated. The metal is unsafe and lots of mud puddles. The minigolf needs alot of attention as well. Grass was over grown on sites and very muddy. The game room was in the lobby and the pinball was out of service. Not one I would bring the kids back to but lovely if you dont have kids with you. The staff was very friendly

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

With the 51 inches of rain since Oct 1 the mowers sink in the grass. Did get to mow this week! No one has been able to mow. We love this park and agree the long green grass is no fun to look at. Note huge amount of gravel all over the 105 sites and we are continuing to bring it is every week!
Apr 03, 2017
Very nice staff, helpful corteous and kind to the grandkids!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So happy your sweet grandkids did not float away in our Oregon Puddles!
Mar 31, 2017
The office was open later than some KOAs which was nice. The personnel in the office were very polite and helpful. It was rainy, and this is a rainy area anyway, it would be nice to have more gravel, right up to the grass, so that mud isn't walking into the RV. This location was easy to get to.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Every week we have David scheduled to bring in gravel. 51 inches of rain since Oct.1...a record. We also have an underground pump that speeds the drainage. Lovely wet western Oregon.
Mar 30, 2017
We had a good time once we got in a site with running water. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Mar 28, 2017
Two bathroom shower facilities. One is STILL closed for upgrades. Other one in need of upgrades.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Shower room on Main building is next on upgrade list!
Mar 27, 2017
Excessive rain, very soft ground, yet senior lady on the desk made our day! Heinz our blind dog loves it too.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yep, we love those senior ladies! Thank you for your stay. You must have Oregon Webbed toes!
Mar 26, 2017
This one is convenient to the highway and a shopping area, if you need supplies. It is just a basic parking lot with spaces to camp. There is no good scenery. It had been raining a lot, and the spaces were very muddy. It is a decent, basic place to pullover and sleep, if it is not raining.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Rainfall is 30 inches above average. 60 inches. We continue to work on the mud...more gravel coming in again this week. Come back in the summer and enjoy a campfire and our heated pool.
Mar 25, 2017
This is the worst koa we have ever stayed at. Muddy and grass was unmowed. Water was orange and rusty did not want to hook up to our trailer. 1 garbage can in the entire campground. Office did not open until 2:30 pm. We will never go back.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Three 3 cubic dumpsters on site and we keep them year around. $8800 a year to Republic for the garbage pickup. All are marked on our site maps. We cannot mow until the rain stops...most rainfall since the 1940's. Many years we have been able to mow in December. The grass IS long and green. Sigh
Mar 24, 2017
Everyone was very accommodating. With the dirt rock surface parking, it would be very easy to come in with a machine and fully level the pad area. When people are tired from driving, the last task desired is to have to level the RV with lift equalizer pads. Enjoyed our stay--easy in, easy out.
Mar 21, 2017
My only complaint was the mud

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Most rainy days since 1942....hope you noticed lots of gravel added every week. You are so correct about the mud. Come back when a dryer year!!!
Mar 18, 2017
It was very clean and would stay again. The managers were very helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oh thank you! You survived our record breaking rainy day winter. Please come again.
Mar 15, 2017
The staff is friendly and courteous, park was clean and well kept.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You are from an area that has beautiful blue sky in the winter and you do not mind our damp, damp, damp winter rain! Be sure to return!
Mar 14, 2017
A muddy mess to walk anywhere. One bathroom facility is closed for repairs and updates. The other is very old and tired. Not a facility we want to use. Staff very accommodating but this LOA is very tired. The area for dogs to run has feces that other dog owners don't pick up. At our own site dog owners let their dogs defecate and left it for us to clean up. Not the staffs problem but discouraging.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

That IS a staff problem. We are all to watch and clean up dog feces at all times. 99% of our dog owners are fantastic....so we start to forget. It only takes one to stay for 3 days and mess it up for guests. Thank you for the heads up!
Mar 13, 2017
We stayed in the Rainy season so we didnt get to experience all that this KOA had to offer but My kids all want to go back in the summer.
Mar 13, 2017
It was nice and clean. But it was too far from Portland so we had to drive a lot and it became tiring.
Mar 07, 2017
Visit was middle of winter, didn't use the facilities. While we had a pull thru, I had to back out of the site when we left due to having a 40' fifth wheel, not a big deal for me though. I will put this KOA on my list for future visits/stops.
Mar 07, 2017
Enjoy the shopping while at the camp.
Mar 07, 2017
Lots,f rain so lot s puddles, so need to continue with gravel additions to sites. Fire ring was in a puddle. Stepped out of RV into mud. Gravel should be crushed rock not river run so it will compact.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Rainfall waaaaay beyond normal, continually bringing in gravel, David loves the business. The firepits are a puzzle this time of year. We are beginning to add gravel also to the firepits so they will drain out quickly in the off season. Thank you for your stay.
Mar 06, 2017
This location is a bottom of the barrel KOA. We usually go to the Warrenton, OR KOA just outside of Astoria, OR and we've grown accustomed to it. It was a shock to see how all KOA's are not the same. I will never stay at the Albany Corvallis KOA again. Instead I'll get a room at a hotel next time we visit Corvallis.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Astoria KOA is a Resort Park and their rates reflect that branding. It is a great place for a family that likes many activities for children.
Mar 03, 2017
We thought it was very clean and well kept

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We love Washington campers like you that truly understand record rainfall!
Feb 27, 2017
I loved the look of the cabin. The space heater was very nice compared to floor heating like other cabins I've stayed in. I loved the keurig and the refrigerator also.
Feb 27, 2017
Really nice and clean facility, well maintained. We arrived free hours- they had the best after hours notes/directions.
Feb 26, 2017
Feb 26, 2017
Good overall stay, muddy roads and pull through parking. One bathroom out of order for days. Staff nice and helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Most rainy days since the 1940s. We have added over 14 loads of gravel and have more ordered. Bathroom not out of order....just trying to remodel during our off season. We are open year around so try to work on projects when we have no tent campers. Other showers were open.
Feb 22, 2017
Weather was a total down pour, so we didn't really get to see the Campground much. We look forward to returning when we can get out and enjoy!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oh boy this winter has had an abundance of downpours. Finally had three more loads of gravel delivered today!
Feb 21, 2017
A little road noise but the staff make up for that minor annoyance.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your stay...yep Hwy 34 is busy, however, makes it easy to find our park....yet folks just see the huge trees and still drive by.
Feb 16, 2017
Great people and friendly place.
Feb 15, 2017
Had a great stay. Staff had heater on in cabin

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

!Yep in the winter, we keep all cabin heaters on low...keeps the damp out of the logs and feels so much better.
Feb 14, 2017
Spaces are small. Wouldn't recommend for RV's over 30ft. Poor drainage. Wouldn't recommend for between Oct and May. Lot of standing water and grass areas turn to mud.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Above average rainfall. Yep, it is wet. Now the gravel is coming, three loads delivered to day. However, in the Western Willamette Valley...no one walks on the grass in the winter.
Feb 13, 2017
Thank you very much for accommodating me and my many schedule changes. I appreciate the coffee as well, however, the machine in #57 was dirty with leftover used coffee pod in it, so I did not use. Owners of this KOA are wonderful!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Great point, the cabin cleaner does not drink coffee and since it is a new addition we had neglected to add that item to the "cleaning list" it IS on the list now...thanks to you!
Feb 13, 2017
The camp ground was very wet. With all the rain they have had I expected it. But there was no way to keep the mud out. Loved the dog run which was dry. They need to put up a bigger sign for dog owners to clean up after their pet.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Had more gravel delivered today. What a winter....tons of rain, however sooooo green. We have a few additions for our K9 park...good idea.
