Very impressed with the new owners of this KOA. They are implementing many improvements. Great dog park also highly maintained. Need a password protected internet these days, that’s required.

The Abilene KOA Campground on a whole is a nice campground, however, with that said, the internet service leaves one to wonder. With technology the way it has improved and gives one the capability to work from home and while they traveling. When one tries to logon to the Abilene KOA network they are lucky if they actually get connected, this is unacceptable. Thank you

Nice park with long and wide spaces. The dog park was nice and clean which is important to us. The park was very clean and the staff were very friendly. All in all a great place to stay.

We love staying at the Abilene KOA. Staff is nice, the park is clean and the restroom/showers are clean. Great place to stay!

Our last stop of a 2 week road trip and it was lovely! The managers were so nice and friendly and happily accommodated our big family with two spots right next to each other! We enjoyed the nice cool pool on a super hot day, even had a picnic dinner at the table by the pool! Everything was clean, bathrooms were nice and sites were a good size. Will definitely recommend Abilene KOA!

The place was clean and quiet, a little too sunny for my taste, but this is Central Texas in the late summer. The campground is located right next to the freeway but noise was not a problem, likely due to the barrier trees between the freeway and the camping sites.

Clean location. Quiet and relaxing. Easy access and we love that they had a Camp K9 park by the office.

Excellent stay and beautiful park. I love that they’ve kept so many trees through out. It’s right off the interstate, but you feel like you’re miles away. It’s an excellent spot. Clean and low traffic.

We stay here every time we pass by. It’s s simple Rv park but meets all our needs. The pool is always cool and shady.

Campground is a marsh. The creek smells like something died in it. Your rules were insulting. The part that say only two dogs with no exceptios should have been stated on your on line registration. Restroom and shower was very clean. We have crossed off staying here ever again.

Site was sufficient. Heavy rains caused flooding at several sites. Seems like something the management should address. Otherwise, we have stayed here a total if three Tim’s in the past couple of years. Great stop over point while traveling.

Thought I had a reservation - turns out I didn't, but they accommodated me anyway. WiFi recently upgraded, but very weak signal, unusable. Had to use my phone's hotspot. Otherwise, great.

We had a great back in site - level and with shade. Internet was non existent. Staff was lovely! We were sorry that the pool was closed.

Great dog park here! Although it is a small and tired RV park, but functional with good WiFi. The store was out of ice but the attendant brought me a bag when he went into town go the store. Nice! It is in a low lying area so when the heavy thunderstorm came in it was a bit of a challenge driving out onto the I-20 frontage road with the high water.,

Nice location. Disappointed at the pool was down and could not even sit in the lawn chairs. They did have a book drop, which was good and we left 10 bucks there. Too bad they didn’t have a pickle ball court as we look for those all the time. Staff was very friendly and plenty room to park.

We took our granddaughters camping for the weekend. They loved the pool and playground area. The caretakers were extremely nice. We will definitely go back.

This was my third stay at this park, and likely my last. There was a loud camping group that played loud and offense music well past midnight and the management either doesn’t live on site or didn’t want to confront the offenders so we got a sleepless night.

I appreciated the phone call as we were going to be arriving after hours. When we arrived the packet was ready. We set up and the Wifi did not work and was not operational for the time we were there. While it was not a huge deal, it should have been working.

Very nice journey KOA. Very friendly staff, nice sites, pretty level, and a nice pool. Well maintained. I would definitely recommend the Abilene KOA!

My husband got sick the morning we were to check out. I went to the office to see if we could get a late check out as he wasn't able to travel at that time. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating, she moved things around so we could stay past check out time. I can't say enough about what wonderful customer service they have at this KOA.

What I appreciate about Abilene KOA the most is the caring, thoughtful, and friendly staff. The laundry facility and bath house are immaculate. The pool is crystal clear and shaded. Our campsite (#60) was level and all the campsites were clean. Some care could be taken with the asphalt and water connections. Overall, this KOA is great stay for those traveling cross country.

We came in late in the evening and did not have a reservation but we found everything set up so that we could find our site and get set for the night.

Older campground under new management with improvements underway. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were well maintained and clean. Campsites were gravel but adequate. Wi-fi only worked near the office.
