I stayed at tent site. It was too bright in night time, due to your neighbor motel’s outside lights. We had a hot time all night. Thank you.

I knew it was close to the HWY so it would be a little loud, but the Motel 6 parking lot lights was a bit much. Besides that the KOA staff was friendly and the grounds and bathroom where super clean.

I had a tent site. The hotel lights next door lit up the site like a football field and the noise from the highway was above normal. On the positive the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the facilities were nice.

From the moment I stopped by I felt welcomed. Derrick gave me details for my site and made me feel safe by pointing out the after hours number. Best showers of any KOA I've stayed at. I will recommend this KOA to anyone

I had a great stay at the Abilene KOA. Derrick is very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and comfortable.

I know this KOA is under new management and is short staffed, it would be nice to block the lights from the Motel 6, they have super bright lights all around their building that when tent camping there is no hiding from those lights unless you close completely up, which is not good to block ventilation. Also maybe more amenities and decor could spice up the place and draw more customers in.

The staff was very kind, patient and accommodating especially when I ask to change my site. The restrooms were spotless and the showers were clean with good water pressure. The camp was quiet with all the other campers respecting both privacy and avoiding light pollution.

We stayed the first night in #41 at our request. The electricity flickered a few times during the night. We have a camper van 30 amp. We left the next morning to go eat breakfast and when I unplugged us, I saw that the 30 amp plug was all cracked and sparked when I unplugged. I did notify an employ, but he didn't seem too interested. When we returned, we moved to #11, a tent site.

Despite a complete staff change, my stay was as good as always. Please help them continue providing me and others this same kind of service, Abilene KOA is where I go most often.

No wifi and no level ground for tenting, loud trucks and bikes all night.

Nice enough for a night or two, or longer if you don't mind a little highway noise and the occasional sound of a B1B taking off or landing in the distance. The Good: Clean bath/shower rooms with enough pressure and temp for a good hot shower. Nice little playground for the little kids. Nice little dog park for the furry family members. Good sized sites, level and hard pack/paved (we were in a pull thru) and full hookups. Nice laundry room with competitive pricing $3.50 for a wash and dry as of this writing. There's also a little book and "stuff" exchange area in the corner of the laundry room. The staff are friendly and jovial. The Meh: Cell coverage (we have Verizon and ATT with a WeBoost) and wifi coverage is poor to spotty, with the wifi being non-existent further back in campground. Highway noise and the lights from the motel next door are noticeable if you're in the front of the park. If you're planning to stay for a while, ask for a spot in the back of the park. If you need propane, get it prior to arrival as theirs is out of service and has been for at least a couple of months (we stopped here in February and it was out of service then, it's now April)...not sure if they have any plans to bring it back online or not. Overall: The good far outweighs the meh and this is a good stop along I-20 if you need to rest for a spell.

Great campsite! We stayed for one night, everything was ready for us whenever we got there, the bathrooms were extremely clean and heated/air conditioned! The dog park was super clean as well! We choose a pull through site and it was super easy and convenient! Only downfall was the wifi wasn't the best, but we are camping, so.
