$15 entry fee and a $17 two-day fishing permit to compete for $20,000 in tagged fish. Tagged fish are stocked for this event, catch and redeem for cash prizes.
Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA Holiday's April Fishing Tournament
Saturday, April 22
Join us for the first of our three fishing tournaments this year! $11 entry fee, and you must have a fishing license that may be purchased right at the campground. Prizes up to $500 will be awarded!
Cherokee Memorial Day Trout Tournament
Saturday, May 27 – Sunday, May 28
$15 entry fee and $17 two-day fishing permit to compete for $10,000 in tagged fish. Tagged fish are stocked for this event, catch and redeem for cash prizes.
Tim Hill Annual Trout Tournament
Saturday, July 8 – Sunday, July 9
This tournament honors Tim Hill, a longtime employee at the Cherokee trout hatchery who sadly passed too soon. Registration fee of $15 and a two-day fishing permit ($17) required. Fish for your share of $10,000 by catching beautiful trout in rivers all across the Qualla Boundary.

Compete for your share of $20,000 in the pristine freestone streams of Cherokee. $15 entry fee and $17 two-day fishing permit required.
