Designed by Conde McCullough, the original bridge was built in 1936. Years of harsh ocean elements caused the bridge to be replaced with the current bridge, which was finished in 1991. It's a lovely, 3/4 mile walk across the bridge into Waldport. Do a little shopping or have lunch at one of the local spots.
