The Edison home, located adjacent to the winter home of Henry Ford, features the inventor's laboratory and botanical gardens. Henry Ford bought the property next to the Edison's and visitors can tour the home of the world's first billionaire as well as the Edison home. Tours are Mon-Sat 9am-4pm, Sun 12pm-4pm. Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving.

This museum is a restored train depot and on display is a turn-of-the-century Ft. Myers rail car from 1930. The museum also has information and exhibits telling stories about the Calusa Indians, the Koreshan religious sect, and cattle ranchers. Guided tours are available, as well as downtown walking tours. Open December through April, Tuesday- Saturday. Closed on holidays.
