Value Kard Rewards

How do I purchase or renew a KOA Value Kard Rewards membership?

There are three different ways to purchase or renew a Value Kard Rewards membership.

  1. At your first KOA stop you can purchase or renew and also receive the 10% discount immediately and your points for all qualified camping fees.
  2. Purchase online and receive an immediate confirmation # that you can print and use as a temporary Value Kard Rewards membership card until your permanent card arrives (About three weeks).
  3. Send a check directly to KOA Value Kard Rewards, PO Box 30558, Billings, MT 59114.

Value Kard Rewards membership Costs: 1 Year for $27.

How long does it take to receive a KOA Value Kard Rewards membership card?

If you purchase online it will take less than ten business days to receive your card, however you are entered into our qualified database immediately. If you purchase at the campground you will receive a confirmation number to use until you receive the permanent card. This will take about 3 to 5 weeks for delivery.

I purchased a KOA Value Kard Rewards membership online and entered the information more than once, was my account charged multiple times?

We have an audit process that detects possible duplicate charges and issues credit to your account. Credits do take longer to show on your statement than charges. If your statement shows that a credit was not issued, you should call your issuing bank to verify the credit was indeed received. If a credit was not issued and your account was charged twice, we will gladly issue you credit for the extra card.

I was unable to retrieve (print) my authorization number when I purchased a Value Kard Rewards membership online. Did the order go through?

If you experienced a printing problem and were unable to print your temporary Value Kard Rewards membership, we are sorry that we will not be able to give you an immediate confirmation # or a temporary card. However; your information is in our database and delivery of your permanent card will take about 3 weeks.

How do I change my address on my account?

There are two ways to update your account information.

  1. Through (or click on "My VKR" at the top right of this page).
  2. Send an email to containing your Value Kard Rewards membership number, your old account information and your new account information.
I lost my Value Kard Rewards membership card, how can I get it replaced?

Please send an email to with your name and address. If your Value Kard membership is still active, delivery of your permanent card will take about 3 weeks.

There are three ways to own a KOA Kampground:

  1. The most common way is to purchase an existing KOA Kampground.
  2. You may also convert an independent campground to KOA branded campground.
  3. The third option is to build a KOA Kampground from scratch.

How do I use Work@KOA?

Work@KOA is an internet based job search database. You can register as an individual or as a couple and post your resume for all KOA Kampgrounds that are currently looking for employees. You will also be able to search by area of the country for positions available. For more information visit

Do I need a KOA Value Kard Rewards account to work at a KOA?

No. The KOA Value Kard Rewards and the Work at KOA are separate programs and it is not required to be a member in both. Visit for more information.

How do I apply for a position at KOA Inc. corporate headquarters?

The Work@KOA site is strictly for positions available at KOA Kampgrounds. Our corporate headquarters are in Billings, MT and from time to time there are positions available. Normally these positions are filled from within the KOA staff or from the local community. How do I get a listing of all KOA Kampgrounds?

We do not ship directories overseas. Please use this website to find information on KOA locations. You are welcome to pick up a free KOA Directory at any KOA Kampground.

How do I tell how much it will cost to camp at a KOA Kampground?

Do KOAs accept pets?

KOA Kampgrounds are pet friendly and welcome our campers who enjoy traveling and sharing their camping experience with the family dog and / or cat. However to insure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by KOA's pet policy.

What does the modem data port amenity mean in the campground information?

A "modem data port" is a phone line access point designed to allow you to conveniently plug your computer in for access to the internet and email.

How do I cancel a reservation I made online?

To cancel an on-line reservation you must contact the campground directly via email, telephone or postal mail. Each campground sets their own cancellation policy and it is posted on their internet reservation page. You should not try to cancel or modify your reservation through the internet reservation process.

Can I make multiple reservations at the same campground or at different campgrounds by filling out one reservation form?

No, you must complete a separate request for each reservation and each location.

How do I purchase a KOA Directory?

A copy of our latest Directory is free, with a $6.00 shipping and handling fee. You can pick one up at any KOA Kampground or order online or send a check or money order to KOA Directory, PO Box 30558, Billings, Montana, 59114.

What is the policy for cancelling a reservation?

To guarantee your campsite, a deposit equal to at least your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Make your online reservations anytime, day or night, at You'll receive a confirmation email from the campground once you complete your reservation.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.

  • RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival.
  • Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.
  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
  • Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
