Always stop on our way south and back. Easy to get to off the freeway but far enough away there is no freeway noise. They keep updating the park and we doing some of that when we were there. Lots of amenities and things to do!

My wife and I stay here every time we go to the Carolinas. It's a very clean,quiet place. They will be seeing us agian!!!.

Very nice RV park with friendly helpful staff. Only negative was that our site had some washout and was not level Anderson levelers were not enough). Also the dump connection was up hill quite a bit so my tanks would not empty so we had to either use the common dump site or travel with partial filled tanks. That said, other sites looked perfect. We will stay here again.

Easy on-off I-81/77. Nice staff. Well maintained. Love biking the New River State Park rail trail. Lots of close entrances to the trail.

Clean campground. Convenient to many nearby places and activities. Would like hooks placed in the shower area for towels. The speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground, however, I noticed that didnt apply to the staff in their golf carts.

We only had a one night stay but everything was great. Place is neat, clean and organize for a relaxing stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my spot (79)..so much that I got spot 80 for my return trip! It was perfect distance to the bathroom and the lovely trail in the woods.

Impossible to connect electricity to 50 amps. Had to use a 15 amp extension. poorly designed terrain. No air conditioning. They offered another site that was not pull thru which I refused. Refusal of management to change land for L06 which was free in the evening and still free the next morning

I really appreciate a campground that stays open for the winter as it is often hard to one in the fall or spring. Wytheville KOA is nice sized campground built on sloping ground. The sites are mostly level but don't be surprised to find some RVs to have their wheels off the ground to get level. The amenities would be very appreciated in the summer months but not so much in the spring.

Just an overnight stop. Didn’t use the facilities. But, looking at what they have and what they are doing, I’m sure that this would be a terrific vacation site for a family with kids. This KOA offered more in terms of recreation than any other KOA I’ve stayed at.

This KOA is still undergoing renovations but website doesn’t mention it. Main clubhouse bathrooms out of service, had a portable setup. Up the mountain washrooms should be updated. This will be a fantastic KOA once completed as it offers some cool features (bowling alley & wagon accommodations). Septic hook up was set up for higher travel trailers, was too high for our airstream.

We stayed 1 night as we were travelling through the area. We had a pull thru site which was perfect as it enabled us to stay hooked up to our truck. The area, grounds and facilities were outstanding .. would highly recommend this park �

Very clean and spread out. Really like the way the pull thru's are staggered (isn't that called, on the bias) and long!! They did a great job here. Also very friendly staff. Highly recommend this campground!!

You have not disappointed us any time we have stayed with you. The park is quiet and clean. Looks like you are constantly updating the property. Liked the little restrooms that you have put strategically throughout the park. And the wifi and cable work great for our overnights. One thing the garbage dumpsters are out of the way for people leaving after a one night stay, need to relocate.

Staff was very accommodating and always friendly and helpful! They are always continuing to expand and make improvements to the campground! Quiet yet close to interstate. Definitely recommend this place!

Great place to stop, our halfway point returning north from Myrtle Beach. Restrooms are clean, view is amazing and far enough from interstate to not hear any trucks. Quiet and peaceful, easy in easy out.

We purchased an RV a few years ago so we could enjoy traveling throughout the US in our "retirement years." SO we joined KOA because we were disappointed in so many campsites we went to and KOA assured us always to have a good campsite ( we have a rather large RV, so it isn't easy to find a good place) First understand that we have stayed at dozens of KOA sites and very few disappointed us, most were good, many were great but Wythville was off the charts GREAT. The staff was so good, going above and beyond what they were required to do and made sure everything was just right for us. We rolled in just as the office was closing but never mind, the guy stayed and took care of us - made sure we were all settled in and then they came to check the next day to make sure we were good. Just a great place. We'll be back. They are fantastic. Thank you Wytheville KOA Holiday

Great location, beautiful campground, and clean facilities. My only request would be the ability to use credit/debit cards at the laundry facility, or provide an ATM for customers to get cash.
