General lack of maintenance, wiring nonfunctional like cable laying on ground not replacing hooks in shower areas not painting where items removed from walls, litter on sites. Like no one cares including the campers many appear to be permanent residents. Ok for a stopover but not a destination.

Here are the positives for this location and we only camp at KOAs, all the staff was friendly and their full hook ups have concrete pads. The reasons we won’t be back, roads were horrible/narrow roads, camp K9 broken locks, no trash pick up, junky sites for long term campers, and hatching toosock caterpillars. If you touch, everyone reacts. They did not spray for these. We were very Disappointed

2 night stay, great pull thru site. We were escorted to our site and given the warning about not eating the grasshopper... I don't know why �Ϝ

We stayed for 2 nights in a cabin during part of our vacation. The cabin was nice, clean and cozy. We had things to do so we weren’t in the campground all that much. It would just have been nice if the pool was open later than 8pm. We’d stay here again.

Buildings need some work. Lots of spaces have concrete pads but not all. OK for an overnight stop.

This would have been a 5 star review if not for their poor management practices! There had been a mixup somewhere and our reservation was for two sites. The lady at the front desk was very nice and said she’d call her manager about getting us a refund for that second site. We had a great time at there. It was close to drive to KSC or to view the launches in town. Well kept park and everyone was very helpful and nice.

Our cabin was great I didn’t like the trees. They made a big mess everywhere. The traffic a little noisy. The staff was nice and friendly. The pool was nice

Shouldn’t take reservations for 45’ MH! Had to move a car just to get into our spot. Roads are too narrow and tree lined to maneuver through.

We booked a spot with another couple . I told the person I booked with that we wanted to be next to each other I was told no problem. I booked sites # 145 and 143. When we got there Iwas told I could not have Site# 145 even though no one was in it .I was told they just gave me that site to garuntee I just had a site when I got there. Were put in another spot.But we won"t be back.It was not good.

Place is under construction.Laundry room closed, clubhouse closed. Zero internet. Bathroom shower pans cracked and rusted. Clean enough I guess. Rustic cabin beds covered with ancient non fitting plastic. Maybe just mine, #9. Office to make a cup of Keurig was closed (for $1.50) until 10:30 am. Only one of many KOA I’ve stayed to charge a 125 dollar hold. Was credited promptly though.

The staff was friendly and a great family campground. We stayed in cabin 1 and noticed the first night the AC was not working. The maintenance man came in looked at the AC and said they were going to get a new thermostat but never returned with the replacement. Thankfully with the windows open, the windy weather and the fans going it was bearable.

Manager was fabulous when we had a noisy neighbor situation at 5:30am. The park could use some updates and more personnel to keep up with the shedding trees.

Staff was extremely friendly! Under new management and the cleanliness and overall status has improved dramatically. Sites were good size, clean, and amenities were in good condition. I expect to stay again when I return to this area.

Nice heated pool but could use cleaning on the bottom of pool, restrooms clean, great laundry but not 24/7, not gated, 30 min to Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center. 5 min to Publix. Why isn’t Clubhouse available to guests? Paved poorly throughout. Lacks needed maintenance and TLC. I was charged $5 to retrieve USPS small package. I’ve never been charged to receive mail or packages.

Very tight loud music from the people who stay all year long, staff members are very nice. My suggestion ask them to put you somewhere where people aren’t living there

Campground is undergoing renovations. The work that has been completed has been done well, which is an indication that over time the facilities will be very nice. There was an inaccurate site assignment for us, but Ralph and Nick were helpful in resolving the issue. This was much appreciated.

Had a pull thru site for one night. Site was very level and full hook ups. Pool was heated and very relaxing. Facility had full laundry.

The resident camper thing is a little unnerving for the regular KOA member. The constant ”staring” from the local resident population is awkward and uncomfortable. A little noisy so close to the road. The trees make a mess of your rig. The staff was very friendly and improvements are obviously being made. Maybe someday, but not today.

I’m not one to bash,however this KOA was terrible. Poor electric, spotty cable, unkempt grounds, poorly maintained and clearly aged in addition to ant mounts everywhere. These problems are easily corrected but also clearly neglected. Mgr. also was not professional at all and front counter person had no professional skills for her position.

If you own a large 5th wheel or class a the roads are extremely tight. Those parking the rv's lack the basic knowledge to guide a rig that big. Prepare to be asked to move your towed vehicle so another rv can be wedged in. Water was disrupted multle times over our two week stay. Restored quickly. The park has been cleaned up over the last few years. Would recommend this park for smaller rigs only.

The website says it has a snack bar. There is none. There is no open rec halll. The bathroom by the pool the mens door is all busted through. It’s not what you expect from a KOA.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr gut gelegen um das Kennedy Space Center zu besuchen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber, allerdings in die Jahre gekommen. Trotz der angrenzenden Straße ruhig. Schöner alter Baumbestand, hundefreundlich. Den Pool konnten wir wegen Wartungsarbeiten leider nicht benutzen. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

I've mostly avoided KOAs in the past because I had a misconception that they were all too loud, sites were too close together and they didn't have any trees. This KOA changed my mind about that. My site had a big oak tree and plenty of shrubs to make it feel a little more private. Restrooms/showers were clean and in good working order. Slabs kept the inside of my camper from getting dirty/dusty. Staff was super friendly and attentive. If my travels bring me back to the area I would definitely stay here again.
