Nice overnight say, especially with the fall colors. Didn't get to spend a lot of time as it was only a stopover on our way to Boston.

The employees were very helpful and the campground is very clean.

Nicest KOA I have been to. We will return during the Summer season.

Everything was great! All workers were friendly and areas were clean. Now if they could do something about the rain!

Site158 was horrible electrical hazard power connections damaged and too low to the ground, water connections to close to the ground, power circuits kept blowing when it rained.Sent text messages at midnight when power kept blowing and got a response the next day at 9:30 when we were preparing to leave and was offered 50 percent off if we stayed logged… which if sad and laughable

Had a great time.

We love staying at KOA Sunbury! We've been going in October for the past 4 years and we love it there! This was our first time staying at Tyson's Truck. It is very cute and cozy! The only suggestion we have is to get a different bed. The metal bunkbed makes soooo much noise when you're trying to sleep. Even putting the top mattress on the floor didn't help. Solid wood bunks would be much better!!!

Used to be great but it's changed in the last year. There are very few, activities offered. The playgrounds are showing wear/need revived. General upkeep seems lacking, grass unmowed, internal roads are crumbling/mostly mud. Not the best customer service, the escort lead us in the wrong way to our spot causing tight maneuvering to get in correctly, site/map training needed. Wooded sites are best.

We love this KOA, always look forward to the Halloween weekends. Only complaint was that the amount of activities offered versus last year were sparse. We missed the pumpkin painting, kids bingo, and post trick or treat party. Hope they come back next year!

Overall the stay was great. Could done without the acorns dropping on the roof of the trailer. Could use some heat in the bathrooms.

Staff was very helpful and polite. WI-FI could be better.

Sites for our 42’ fifth wheel were roomy. Too many speed bumps in the park, makes entry rough. One set should be enough? Staff was friendly and efficient. Great place for an overnight with easy interstate access.

Very nice place. My only comment would be to really listen to your customers. We have a 42ft fifth wheel with 5 slides. The original spot that we were given was to small width wide. We couldn’t put out our slides because of the trees. We were able to more which was so much better

Just and over nite stay but it is a beautiful camp ground!

Loved the site (#631). Very secluded and loved the patio and it's furniture. Only issue was internet went out in our area after 1st day. Could connect in all other areas of the campground, but not in the 600 sites, so issue was not with our phones. Notified staff and they were looking into it, but was not restored by end of our trip. Other than that, was perfect and we will be back.

Ok for a one night stop. We were way out in “The Boondocks” and were thankful we were guided to our site. Our surge protector suffered a power surge and now has to be replaced. There is WiFi but we had a weak signal so we had to use our hotspot.

It was nice except the jump pillow had a hole in it & others have stated it’s been like that for over a year. It needs replaced or repaired to be used next season. There’s no excuse for it to be torn for so long.

On the map, this KOA appeared to be close to I71. There are two exits and both are about 8 miles of winding roads to get to the park. It is mostly big rig friendly; however, they need to trim a few trees. Most of the campers appear to be tow behind and or seasonal RVs. Nice people running the camp.

Great site. Long enough for our 44 ft 5th wheel an F350 Ford dually. Very helpful and kind workers. Will definitely be back when in the area.

We were going to be arriving late. I was contacted the morning of day we were coming and let them know we were going to be getting there after hours. I ordered wood and they brought it to our site so we were ready to go when we got there. Very friendly staff throughout whole process. Clean campgrounds and a lot of things to do, wish we had the time to do them but were only there 1 night.

Stayed in one of the cabins ... very nice and comfortable. This KOA has a food truck with a good selection of hot food as well!!

Stayed here for years but looks unkept and activities were not good. Campground has definitely gone down hill with new ownership

Nice weekend

We rented the farmhouse cabin and really like this camp ground. Although it's seeming to not be cared for as well as it used to . Our cabin was nice . My only complaints are minor. The upstairs loft needs curtains , we hung a blanket to block light , there needs to be a cookie sheet for cooking certain things , and maybe an extra blanket or 2 would b nice. Would stay again though.

We love this KOA, but we were disappointed that there weren’t as many events as this time last year. There was no kids bingo, costume contest, or kids dance party. Also bummed that the kids jump pad was deflated and firewood delivery took multiple hours.

We had a wonderful stay at the Finn Treehouse! I just wanted to mention a couple of things that might need to be looked at/fixed. The left side of the grill did not get very hot and the kitchen sink was very slow to drain. These things did not get in the way of our amazing stay, but just wanted you to be aware. The staff was wonderful and we really enjoyed all of the fall festivities. Thanks!

Great campground. Clean, friendly staff and very responsive. Booked a site with the pawpen for our two little Dachshunds. However, it took about 30 seconds for both of them to find a way out. If it were not for that it would get 5 stars

The campsite was wonderful, as usual. It was just a little disappointing that there were few activities available for the older kids, esp with the bounce pad shut down. We enjoyed Trick or Treat as always. We will be back, I am sure!

We’ve tent camped and stayed in the treehouse here. Both stays were great! The tree hill Lise was clean and well-appointed with plates, mugs, silverware, a microwave, fridge, coffee maker! We appreciate the sink in the treehouse. The only thing we’d suggest is an air freshener in the bathroom downstairs. The whole place is great with the camp store, well-maintained trails, etc.

The absolute best KOA we've been to. We loved our spot back in The Backwoods. However, the campground could use some improvements. Pros: - Huge campus with variety of spaces around lake and in wooded areas. - Zipline, jump pad, disk golf, and other toys for the children. - Petting zoo, lake, and nature trail. - Office staff friendly.  Let us receive our packages - a huge plus for us! Cons: - Speed limit not enforced.  This is true for the long-term residents, weekend campers, and maintenance/work campers. Some work campers in their personal vehicles are going way too fast including a gold minivan that is at least going over by 4x - 5x the 5 MPH limit and kicking up dust and neglecting safety of the kids playing nearby. - Maintenance lacking - many unmowed spots and areas (like some of the disk golf course), random trash throughout the campus.  We finally had to clean up the garbage in our site and in the woods behind us.  Just walk around the campus on foot with a few garbage bags and you'll be surprised how much you can pick up. - Major rotting tree in our site that needs to be removed immediately before it becomes a disaster (yes, we informed a maintenance worker). - Nature trail needs major maintenance including whole trees and tree limbs across trail making parts impassable, not to mention the muddy/boggy areas. - Black widow spider in our electrical box - The Backwoods area got quite loud last night we were there with many campers including some unruly ones.  Also, there was an RV where they were clearly smoking the good lettuce, if you know what I mean. 😉 - Overgrown tree branches need to be trimmed back as they were scraping our RV on the way out in a few areas. All-in-all we had a great time and plan on returning.  I hope these suggestions help as this could be an absolutely stellar experience with just a few, easy improvements.

Feels kinda weird using a Hotel list for a campground but rooms=site I would say it was excellent. They have obviously done a lot to keep the sites up. Wood composite Adirondack furniture was at many of the sites and all that we saw had concrete patios. Service was great. Greeted with a smile and friendly faces. Location - hard to beat a location like this in the middle of God's country. It was quiet and easy to get to any of the nearby attractions.
